So... Kirby-Loki said that he faked his death in Avengers Endgame and went into hiding on some distant planet. He created a perfect illusion that fooled Thanos and Thor.

This was a fan theory being thrown around before this episode.

I just can’t imagine Loki and many of the other original avengers have much time left as we approach 20 years of the franchise. Need others to step up to carry this or let this MCU die.

You are out of your mind if you think the MCU will die.

The possibilities for storylines is fricking endless especially as shown in this episode with all the Loki variants. Each of their original worlds is a damn easy 25 years of content.

I feel like there is no way this isn't the case.

Absolutely
I know she can’t do it in the tva but she had a tempt pad. Could have brought her to any appocolpyse and read her mind

Also, would it be possible to use a temp pad to travel to the dark dimension and dormammu’s world? It’s been a long time since I’ve watch dr strange movie.
Imagine the troll of going there and pruning/detonating a time bomb sending dormammu to the end of time planet to rape everyone.

Someone online speculated on the various aspects of the show, and pointed out that Alioth and Kang are at odds with each other.

Maybe, Alioth is what is keeping Kang out, instead of keeping others away from Kang. If so, Loki and Sylv

I like this theory. Kind of a big example of unintended consequences.

I haven't read them all, but think in the comics they had it set up that Kang and Alioth had adjoining temporal kingdoms or something. It might be kind of a situation like in Star Trek where you have Federation, Klingon, Romulan, etc. sectors of space and they can sometimes act as a balance on one another. I kind of doubt they really delve into this too deeply with the tv/movie universe though.

So..
Mobius is a Loki?
If he got sent there he has to be right?

Did you fall asleep during the part where the ship from the Philadelphia Experiment was sent there?

That was from a variant where the Philadelphia Experiment actually worked, thus it had to be pruned.

The article I posted kind of hints at this theory. Alioth gets out of control or is too big for Kang to conquer but it's protecting immortus. So Kang would enlists the help of an Avengers type group

The entire thematic trajectory of the show has been building to this.

This show just keeps getting better. I hope we don't get a last episode letdown like we had with FATWS and (to a lesser extent) WandaVision.

I’m hoping it’s Deadpool, or a sentient jet ski voiced by Vince Vaughan

Deadpool actually would make sense seeing as he has already mastered time travel and immortality.

You know what we need? A good old fashioned Crackpot theories thread for the MCU. I can't remember if it was on here or on another site, but there was a Crackpot theory thread that ran for hundreds of pages on GoT.

Only bad thing is it would have been better if it had been started before WandaVision, or maybe even before some of the movies.

On another note, I'm sad Classic Loki dies. Richard E Grant is a great actor and it would have been fun to see his version of the character for a bit longer.

It’s clearly Howard the Duck.

After Wandavisions lack of a big reveal, I’m
certainly not getting my hopes up for anything.

It’ll probably be an infant Loki behind it all

Have you seen the box office draw or the popularity of the D+ series? They are going to milk the OG avengers as long as possible.

I thought about it some, and it does fit.

Kang/Immortus, etc; should be super-powerful (enough to wreak dimensional havoc). So why haven't they been around before now?
*Because Alioth 'guards the gate'. Maybe not intentionally protecting us, but just happens to be between the MCU's main timeline and all of Kang's plans.

Enter Loki, God of Mischief. Everything he does results in mischief.

All he wants to do is break the stranglehold the TVA has on reality, to allow free will and a chance to explore other destinies. He doesn't want to be the villain anymore.
How ironic would it be, if he unleashes Kang unto the MCU, by doing something motivated purely by a sense of newfound decency and honor?
