Was hoping for more out of this episode, a lot to close up and answer in episode 6. Tons of time wasted here with no real progression to The Who dun it

I wouldn’t exactly call an episode spent in Prunatory a waste. The battle with the Aligoth was a bit underwhelming but I enjoyed the rest of the episode. The mastermind behind the TVA better not be another Loki.

I feel like there is no way this isn't the case.

Haven’t read the thread yet because I haven’t watched the episode, but a little FYI, the episode is called “Journey into Mystery”. Loki’s first appearance in the comics was in JiM #85 (2nd appearance of Thor).
I found one once at a garage sale for 40¢.

Yeah I just finished it. I was really hoping to see Sylvie take Ravonna somewhere and mind enchant her to see what she really knows.
Aligator Loki, as expected, killed it every scene he was in. It’s like the joker scenes in Nolan’s the dark knight. Give this gator an Emmy ASAP.
I love how the old Loki faked his death by thanks via projection and survived in exile.

I thought the first part was silly. Fortunately it got better pretty quickly. I thought some of the story unfolded too quickly and conveniently such as Mobius and Sylvie finding each other (and our Loki) so quickly.

The biggest items I gleaned is that Loki can be taught new and powerful spells like enchantment and Old Loki (with awesome illusion powers) gave Loki the playbook on how to avoid being killed by Thanos as he did.

Still a good episode. If it would have been about 20-30 minutes longer to stretch things out more it would have been a great episode.

Agreed. Do you think the season ends with them meeting Kang?
Do we get a Loki Sylvie make out or whatever would break reality?

That's exactly what I was thinking and should've been Sylvies first move when she got the temp pad. Take her somewhere and then enchant her.

Then again it really seems like Ravonna truly doesn't know everything as well since she asked ms minutes in her last scene to dig up stuff.

I think she’s sending miss minutes away to stay occupied and has some other motive.

They are definitely not introducing Kang in a tv series
They will save that for a movie

Thanos Coptor
Throg (Frog Thor)
Thanos or Ronan's Ship
Giant Yellow Jacket Helmet
Avengers Tower has Qeng on the side of it (
Maybe the Star Ship Enterprise
Polybius Arcade (Look it Up)
Explanation behind the USS Eldridge

Gonna give it another go to see what else I missed. With the addition of Alioth, everything points to Kang, but I have a feeling we'll be Ralph Bohner'd again and the big bad will be Miss Minutes or Mobius.

It’s possible that it’s Kang. And that Ravonna (who Kang is in love with in the comics) is near dead like in the comics. And that the TVA Ravonna is a variant that Kang is keeping around.

Remember, In the comics Kang always tries to destroy his other versions.

So maybe ep 6 is preparing for Quantumania while also having a way for Loki to live.

So maybe Loki is sent to the Grandmaster (Who has dealings with Kang in the comics)(Or by the hands of the Grandmasters brother, the Collector) and Loki comes back To the normal timeline on Sakaar. From there, Loki is ready for his moment when facing Thanos

If mobius is villain that would be the hugest nut kick for me. I’d feel so betrayed.
