Agreed. Last episode made it clear she left Jimmy and the law. And interviews with Rhea now support the J-K=S theory.

But we have years before Breaking Bad's timeline starts. Who's to say Kim left and after awhile realized she missed it and comes back? I don't think it's going to go that way but I can't dismiss it. I think the new player coming in is a nod to Walt's appearance.

I also think that many of the clues that tied Kim to BB's timeline may just be Jimmy/Saul holding on to that part of him. That would explain something like the Ice Station name.

One thing I'm as sure as I can be without actually seeing it is that Kim is not done in the series. I agree when Ham said that wasn't a proper sendoff for that character. She's coming back...just don't know in what capacity. It could be right back this episode or not until the last 2 minutes of the entire show. The writers/creators are pretty open about how happy they are with the end so I tend to believe they will stick this landing, too.

I'm also curious about how much of Gus and Mike we see. I think Gus is mostly done as his story seems finished outside of some small cameo type stuff. He also wasn't in BCS until a couple season in so he's not a main character. I can read his last scene as accepting his work isn't done and he's got more stuff to do (that we see in BB).

Mike is a main character in the show so I think he'll still have his normal sized role going forward...maybe slightly reduced depending on when we jump to Nebraska. I would expect him to also get a big sendoff one way or the other.

1 key piece/egg that I'm hanging on to is that Kim's tequila topper was on the ground at Jimmy/Saul's house when the movers were packing everything up.

She wouldn't have left that behind when she packed up the apartment to move out. OR at least she wouldn't have left it behind without them SHOWING us she left it behind.

Kim can't be done yet. And IF she is - I'll gladly take a Kim spinoff series for whatever her post Jimmy/Saul life becomes.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Carole Burnett are all in the credits for this episode on IMDB. I know that's not always accurate, but they weren't in Ep 9 credits.

Could Burnett be Kim's mom? I'd say there is a similarity to an older version of the one that played her mom when younger.
