Man, I so want more of the BB universe but can’t think of anything that wouldn’t be jumping the shark.

Yeah, we need a 54 year old Aaron Paul posing as a high school drop out. Hello fellow teens, want to buy some meth? He looked old as hell in that episode.

Maybe an early Gus or Lalo prequel?? That would be amazing…as long as Vince is involved.

I wouldn't mind a Lalo show.

It'll never happen, but that is a show I would watch.

10/10 would watch a Lalo series.

His upbringing with Hector and the cousins and setting up his compound and all of that.

I would take any Tony Dalton no questions asked

During the early years of BCS, Giancarlo said that he begged Vince for a one-season Gus origin story, but he didn't sound optimistic that Vince would warm up to the idea. But we'll find out soon enough if they are considering any additional spin-offs.

Any prequels will require recasting with younger actors. Maybe the Sopranos prequel is too fresh in my mind, but I can't remember any prequel that was as good as the original without the original actors.

But I do agree that prequels involving Gus, Mike & the Salamancas would be great, if just the stories.

This would have been preferable to BCS. It would definitely involve need new younger actors though. I still want to know what Gus did in Chile that had Don Eladio so impressed he decided not to kill him in Breaking Bad.

Oh this reminded me, when they first conceived BCS, they were considering making it a comedy!

I think it would have the potential to be entertaining but Idk if I'd like it better than BCS. With everyone you mentiond we know their end. We know how and when all fo them die, so we already know their ending and a lot of their "middle" I suppose so it's basically just be a gangland story set in mexico whihc you can find anywhere. With BCS we had no clue anythign about Saul's backstory while watching BB, and had no idea about his post-BB life either. The possibiltiies were wide open which I find more intriguing on the surface

that would suck, IMO. We like Gus because we're familiar with esposito and how he portrays the character. Ditto for mike and others. WAtching a show with entirely differnet people but slapping the name gus or tuco or whatever on them would just feel kinda cheap IMO

Yep. Plus the whole central cast is just too damn old to do any more prequel type shows with their characters. BCS is pushing it down the stretch with Mike and Gus already, plus how old Aaron Paul looked.

It would have to be so prequel/tangential that the OG cast isn't needed.

Damn. I love this show. I enjoy the discussion on these threads a lot. That is, until HS shows up.

Had to quit reading about 10 pages ago, such a narcissistic, neurotic, and likely autistic jackass.

Looking forward to next week!

Interesting. The biggest unanswered mystery, to me at least, is what Don Eladio knew about Gus that made him let Gus live when they killed Max. I'm disappointed we never got more on that.

Make a sequel series picking up the aftermath about who takes over the new meth game. It seems to be wide open at this point.

So far these Breaking Bad era scenes haven’t given us any new insight.

They are cool, but not really advancing the story.

And they seem "off". Almost like they got the actors to come play old parts 10 years later and the chemistry is gone. It's being forced.

Saw that too, it’s actually two spaces away from “Go to Jail”, since there are two episodes left
