She could have been in Florida since the day she left him or soon thereafter. She was his wife. He would most likely know where she resides.

I bet next episode is a “what’s been up with Kim” story up to her calling fran and then hearing from Gene from her point of view. Old lady is definitely the one taking down Saul. Kind of fitting because that’s kind of what started this journey…dealing with the elderly at sand piper.

And since Fran's phone is tapped Kim's likely is as well. So he called her at work.
Not likely they could get a warrant to tap the phone of a business that she works at.
*Apparently he doesn't have internet, Fran threw that at him, as he called information to get the business' phone number.

At least it was nighttime for the Jessie scene. My theory is they are shooting this entire season with lower light and darker filters to help obscure how old everybody has gotten.

even setting up Jeff with the string of crimes he could easily cut a deal with the FEDS to give up Saul and walk away from all of this.

With all the delays both series have had my concern was Mike would die of old age before finishing the show.

I was gonna post this. Jeff can’t be that stupid. There’s gotta be a sizeable reward for bringing in Saul. Probably #2 most wanted man in America. Did Jeff really not think to turn him in for money?

Jimmy/Saul/Gene realized the value of the anonymity burner phones provide. I would be surprised if he had a PC or smart phone.
That Marion now has internet access is no accident. She starts out watching cat videos then gets very curious about Mr. Tacovic. Only bad things will come from that.
Related to the next episode's title, I thought I remembered a shot in Nippy that lingered just a bit too long on a ceiling sprinkler head. Can't find it now so maybe I was imagining things.
In any case I predict a bleak future for Jimmy/Saul/Gene.

while I suppose they COULD be throwing us a pump fake, based on what the viewer had bene watchign it's assumed that he was breaking into cancer guys' house. I mean there is no other logical answer to that unless they wanted to just completely and totally fake us out

I agree with you that Gene is breaking into the last mark's (Stuart from TBBT) house to finish the job. But as I write that the trailer for this episode with the voiceover while the car was at the crossroads was a red herring.

I'm wondering if Saul will die in a fire. Same way Chuck went out, and cancer guy said people who steal from weak have a special place in hell. I'm kinda hoping there is some sort of homage or call-back to Chuck in the final episode.

Yup, getting Carol Burnett on the show was a big deal, there's no way she's there just for filler. She's going to bring the heat!
However, I still hope for a happy ending, so while I think Carol is the one who calls the feds, I hope that just drives Gene to flee and seek out Kim.
