Replying as I read through the thread so I’m sure someone else makes this comment, but like Gus killing Victor with the box cutter

You claim an intention to not worry about it, yet in the next sentence you show an elevated concern over downvotes. Are you seeking approval from people who will not give it to you?
My take-away is you are psychologically damaged. You showcase your own insecurities without the self awareness that these insecurities are on display (this is an inherent characteristic of obsession and insecurity).
You do not have a full life outside of here. That life is the reason you obsess over some perceived need to be right and prove it to others (insecurity) while attempting to inflict your own brand of psychological harm on others (name calling and other insults) who do not accept the fiction that you have bought into.
I would encourage you to focus more on real life and be less immersed in sources of escape from life. I wish you the best.

Chighur wins. Lalo is menacing and his attitude and almost playfulness hasn't gotten him yet but I think it would cost him against someone who's his equal. Chighur is all business.

To make it a suicide Lalo would have to give up his weapon to make a ballistics match and I don't see that happening.

I think Chighur wins as well. They are both adaptable, but we’ve seen Lalo struggle more when not on his turf. He survived the hit crew because it was on his turf, where he had a secret tunnel system. That German with the axe got the jump on him, and he shouldn’t have survived. He was way too cocky in that encounter.

Bullet exited the other side of his head. If they drop him in the desert and they never find the bullet, I seriously doubt the cops would question that. Mike would get a burner piece, put it in Howard’s dead hand and fire a round off.

lol
I had looked down for a second to light my pipe, looked up and saw the gun being taken out and for just a moment wondered if it was Howard pulling it out. He should have left though when he was told to.
I liked Howard, he saw through all the bullshite and seemed to be a decent guy in the end. Wife seemed like a bitch who didn't appreciate anything. In retrospect he should have been fricking some whores and doing cocaine.

quote:he mentioned he was in the guest house, they could put him on the couch with a gun next to him then set the place on fire. Comes off as Howard set his house ablaze (like his mentor) then offd himself inside. They find charred remains with a bullet skull, a weapon and look at all his personal troubles

Idk..they have a corpse to deal with though lol

I actually chuckled at Howard's reaction when he saw Lalo spinning the silencer on the gun.
"Oh"

Hearkening back to Saul’s classic BB line: “Did Lalo send you?!?”
It’s obvious now that rather than send two guys in ski masks, Lalo would rather do it himself.

Only 1 reason BB Saul thinks Lalo's alive.
WTF is this lunacy.
As of this moment nobody..... NOBODY .... Not even you KNOWS whether Lalo is alive or dead in the BB timeframe.
You rwhole analysis based on this is complete bullshite.
(I will grant that Lalo is likely dead, but for all we know he could be in a supermax prison somewhere.)

I think people are rolling with Gus telling Hector that the Salamanca bloodline dies with him to mean that Lalo is dead. On top of that, as leery as Gus is of Lalo right now, it's not the same Gus at all that we see in BB, i.e. he no longer has concerns or fears of Lalo, meaning he is dead.
I agree with you in that we technically don't know if Lalo is alive "somewhere" in the BB timeline. But all the definitely points to him being dead.

Does anybody know what movie Kimmy and Jimmy were watching on the couch when Howard came in? It may mean nothing, but I bet it’s got a little nugget of something in it.
Speaking of which, did we ever talk about the 1st episode title “Wine and Roses?” It comes from a song they played in some of the teasers, and I think it played instrumental in the episode. I don’t know if the song came first or the film, but there’s a 1962 movie called “Days of Wine and Roses” that came out in 1962, starring Jack Lemon and Lee Remick. (Looks like there was also a tv episode of Playhouse 90 in 1958 with the same plot). Which is:
“An alcoholic marries a young woman and systematically addicts her to booze so they can share his passion together.” They marry, have a baby, and it’s all fun and games until they’re both full blown alcoholics and he loses his job. Their lives are spiraling out of control, but only he can pull himself out and quit. I think she loses everything. Not sure that will totally reflect what happens with Kim and Jimmy, but it was absolutely done on purpose.

Dissecting the "Did Lalo send you?" line is one thing.
The biggest incongruency for me is one of Saul's first lines in BB was staring down Francesca walk away and say to himself "look at that booty!"
Why would he say that if Kim is still in his life with a much nicer booty?

Gus says this with confidence. Lalo is by far the most dangerous Salamanca. No way Gus moves forward with knowing he is alive somewhere.

That’s the song playing while they playing when cleaning out the mansion. I think it was the Jackie Gleason orchestra. Which opens up some new theories regarding Sheriff Buford T Justice.
