I’m sitting here wondering who the hell is Alvarez? But I guess know one knows? Makes me fell better because I was confused as hell.

I hate the idea of no more Nacho for the rest of the season as I actually prefer his and Lalo's scenes to most everything else.
This would seem to indicate we'll be seeing Walter and Jesse soon as well seeing as Saul namedrops both Nacho and Lalo when they take him out in the desert.

So was the DA conversation confirmation that it wasn’t law enforcement following Saul and Kim last week? Gotta be Howard’s PI or something.
not confirmation because they could still be investigating before 'opening a case'. but its gonna be howards PI, it always made the most sense.

I’m starting to think it was Lalo who followed Saul and Kim. Nobody knows when he’ll be back north, even his family.
Lalo is going to want to hear the story, again.

Some Peruvian drug dealer it seems. Obviously the Salamanca's know of him. Alvarez is who the planted bank transfers, that Mike put in Nacho's safe, were from.

At this point I am done with Saul’s storyline. Just don’t care. I’m sure they will suck me back in but I have zero interest in their scheme against Howard. And hope it blows up in their face as I sit here having a drink for Nacho.

Aside from cartel circumstances, Nacho always seemed like a good dude. Always rooted for him.
Same.

Is that confirmed on the docs? Don’t remember seeing that. But makes sense.

I was wishing Lalo would’ve popped out from the building, and Mike would’ve sniped him.

also just noticed when the rerun came up, the opening of the episode right before the theme song was the rain on a glass shard very similar to the one he used to free himself before meeting his fate.
Yeah, it is morphing back into BB aesthetically I feel like. So I guess Saul never learns that Nacho is killed given when Walt and Jesse drag him to the desert and he says something about "Did Ignacio send you? Was it Lalo? (paraphrasing) but interested to see how that plays out. I guess Nacho just disappears.
I also think its been Lalo following Saul to get proof of Gus helping in the desert, or having something to do with it, as Lalo is smart enough to know if he were to die or remain in jail in America, Gus would be blamed. Further, Lalo wants to stay alive and wants to take Gus out himself.
Well that or to confirm whether or not Bolsa had anything to do with it as well. Could be a PI though.

Alternate scene-Mike takes out everybody other than Nacho with his sniper rifle and they take over Fring's drug empire.

I’m the opposite. I can’t wait to see the result of all this scheming. All these puzzle pieces are going to make an excellent picture at the end. I feel bad for Howard though

he should have still been in mexico at that time. unless he unlocked late seasons game of thrones travel speed. the time between those episodes was like a couple days.
plus why would he tail saul? he wouldve just busted up in his house late at night.

I almost posted that exact thing earlier. None of Walt's endless bullshite and we would have been spared Skyler's bitching.

I'm not really feeling the try and destroy Howard storyline either.

1. That wasn't the deal
I’m pretty sure it was the original deal. He was to run, but he’d be zip tied and wouldn’t get far before Victor shot and killed him (insurance so the cousins couldn’t capture and torture him). But Nacho didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of killing him—he wanted to write his own ending to his own story, so he did it himself.
(After taking the piece of glass. Not sure if Mike broke out the glasses strictly for this and he and Nacho planned the suicide—as opposed to being killed running away—without Gus knowing or not. Nacho was in the game—there was no way “out” at that point. But Mike respected him enough to let him choose his death. And that’s really all that mattered to Gus, Bolsa, and Hector. If Nacho died, his dad was safe.)
Of course I could have misunderstood upon 1st viewing. But I don’t think anybody was expecting suicide except Mike.
