One thing that has bugged me that I am surprised no one has pointed this out. Why is everyone assuming the Salamanca’s won’t go after Nacho’s father since he was a rat and especially since he admitted to the Hector stuff? The Salamanca’s knew his father was important to him and it’s hard to believe those spiteful sob’s would be satisfied with just shooting his dead body.

They will. We haven't seen the end of the dad. No way he is in so many scenes to just fade into the background.

I think they're probably done with the Nacho/dad story. They've just got too much story left to wrap up, unless they're going to use his dad to introduce the vacuum shop. I don't think that's likely though, his dad would be to stubborn to run off.

What’s the point?

The only way threatening the dad worked was to keep Nacho in line. Now that he’s dead killing his dad would serve as revenge for who? No one.

To set an example, maybe. But no one will know Nacho killed himself, the Salamancas can still out his mutilated body on display and claim they did it to him for snitching.

To carry on the long standing tradition that BB and BCS have of creating such happy endings for the show's characters.

If those weren't Alvarez guys then Alverez is completely out of left field. It makes me wonder if it's just a throwaway name for that episode or if we will see them. Seems a bit late to introduce a whole new gang to the show.

I’m guessing Alvarez is only introduced to support the plot line. It actually got me thinking, so I dug back a little to season 4 for precedence.

Gus kills Arturo, stages his death, and has a gut shot Nacho finger a guy in a silver Firebird as the attacker. In S4E4, the twins, with Nacho along for the ride, attack the flop house where they find the guy in said Firebird as payback for the attack. We learn these were the Espinosas. I don’t recall ever hearing of them before or after. It’s likely the same will be the case with Alvarez, but who knows…

But who would even receive that message? I get the vengeance thing and understand in the moment Hector being so pissed he emptied 8 (I counted) shots I to Nacho’s dead body. But after time to reflect, it does nothin except expose them for no really good reason. I tend to agree with Ham, that we’re done with Nacho and his dad. There may be a scene that addresses it briefly, but I think its safe to assume Nacho’s dad is safe. Why? Because Mike said anybody that goes after him would have to go through him. And since Mike’s still around during BB, I think that answers that. Does anybody think Mike would have said that and not meant it? Or that they would have even had him say it if that weren’t the end of it?

To be fair, I think Mike was referring to Gus's operation going after dad. Mike has no control over the Salamonca clan...But I tend to agree, Nacho is gone and probably his dad's storyline is gone with him.

Mike was talking about ANYONE going after his dad, it's been pretty clear Nacho's dad has been under the "protection" of Mike and this cements that. No matter who it is, Mike's looking after Nacho's dad.

The scene of the phone call between Nacho and his father was tough, knowing what’s gonna happen. The viewer could really fee Nachos pain as he was never going to speak or see his father again. He could have cried and squeeled but he handled it like a boss.

Nacho was an excellent character. Will keep an eye out for that actor. Lalo too!

It was tough. I watched that scene from the father’s perspective, no idea it was the last time he’d talk to his son, and all the what ifs he’d be replaying in his mind over the years.

Keep your eyes open to anything regarding 618.

There's probably something going on with that #, but I don't know what it is yet.

Between promo pics and scenes from the show it seems like they were beating us over the head with it.

Vince/Peter telling us in advance Nacho would die in S6E3. Right after this shot Mike tells them Nacho won't be back.

There is some crazy speculation out there that there's more than 13 episodes based off of a podcast Vince was on.

I haven't listened to the podcast, I'm just passing along rumors and speculation from people that may be crazier than me. Don't shoot the messenger IDK.

Apparently Vince went on a prerecorded podcast and they completely silenced a a good 15-30 seconds of what Vince was saying.

People that listened to it seem to think there may be more than just the 13 episodes.

Speculation runs from Gus's home country episodes to a few new BB episodes.

I haven't listened so I don't have a clue, I'm just passing along the gossip.

At this point I don't believe it, but if there's something there I would lean toward the Gus stuff based off an interview I watched of him.

I would believe it if they wanted to wrap it up in a movie titled either:

I’d imagine the next three episodes will be Lalo and the Kim/Jimmy vs Hamlin storylines for the most part. Then there’s a break and when the final half returns in July I expect a time jump and at least one or two full Gene episodes

It’s already been made known that we will get a further glimpse of Saul’s behind the scenes life during the breaking bad timeframe so that’ll be interesting to see. I’m sure we will see the making of his office. There’s a lot to Saul during BB timeframe that they can dream up.

Hell if it becomes known to Jimmy and Kim early enough in the next episode or so that Lalo is still alive they could possibly time jump into BB era sooner than later
