I'm pretty sure he's actually very active in using his celebrity status and exposure to help out veterans and active duty service members. He seems like a genuinely humble guy.

He started the non-profit Arts in the Armed Forces, where they travel around and perform improv and other performance arts for the troops. It's a pretty awesome organization.
