Netflix just doesn't have very good programming going on right now. Never had AppleTV so there are a few things on there I want to watch.

I know of a few of the popular shows on Apple. Severance is the big one. Heard good things about it.

But I was actually more interested in Slow Horses with Gary Oldman. Is that a really good series? Seems like it should be.

Apple is significantly better than Netflix in terms of quality. It's definitely quality over quantity.

Slow Horses is very good.

You could cancel Netflix and depending on how fast you watch shows, could keep yourself busy on Apple for a long time. Off the top of my head all good shows worth watching...

Severance
Widow's Bay
Shrinking
Black Bird
Dark Matter
Drops of God
Mythic Quest
The Studio
The Offer
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed
For All Mankind
Physical
Tehran
Platonic
Your Friends and Neighbors (season 1)
Pluribus
Bad Monkey
Masters of the AIr

Others that I'm not crazy about but most people like...

Foundation
Ted Lasso
The Morning Show
Silo
See

Apple is kind of killing it with comedies. We get virtually no good comedy movies any more but they have a really good selection of comedy shows. Sci-Fi as well.

It has good shows but their library is small, compared to other streaming services.

Acapulco is the best show on Apple TV no one talks about.

Apple TV is a must have.

Still havn't watched that one. My brother told me it got pretty corny so I held off. He's the only person I've talked to about it so it might not be, but that just gave me pause.

Forgot about Bad Monkey too, that wasn't too bad. Heard Pachinko was decent too but haven't given it a shot either.

I second all the recommendations above and I’ll add Widow’s Bay.

Also, they have a limited amount of original movies. Tetris, The Lost Bus, and Greyhound are all worth watching.

Knew I was forgetting something good but had a mental fart. Added that and Pluribus. Widow's Bay was one of the more fun shows I've watched in quite a while.

Netflix and Apple TV are apples and oranges to me.

You are absolutely correct that Apple TV dishes out more qualify content, but Netflix still has a black hole of content. And I mean that in a positive light. I'm also not a huge fan of Apple TVs interface, but that is a first world problem complaint. Not a problem if you know what you are looking for of course.

AppleTV is quality over quantity. Almost everything I have watched has been good. Some shows I recommend are:

Widows Bay
Tehran
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
Severance
Ted Lasso
Silo

Just about everything on Apple TV is from average to great. They just don't have nearly the quantity as most of the other big streaming services. I find myself going there more and more due to the hit rate.
