Correct. You can clearly see a camera in the room on last weeks episode

Why did he show up to the boat with a gun, zip ties, and rope then?

I edited my initial post to add that maybe the gun, rope, and tape were there if they needed to scare her. I’m not even sure the guy in the cowboy picture was Greg.
As someone mentioned earlier, if they were planning on killing her, why party with her for three days. If they really were connected, powerful, mafioso there were much easier ways of doing her in. Also, no way they let Portia live.

How much were they trying to blackmail her for? They threw around some serious money for this whole ruse. I would think the payoff would have needed to be huge. Not sure how much you could realistically blackmail her for. I don't really remember them saying how much she was worth anyway.

I don’t know??
I think Tanya dying unnecessarily, basically by her own actions, makes the plot more tragic, sort of operatic. Remember her reaction to Madame Butterfly? “She died” It also plays into her histrionic, narcissistic personality.

She was worth 500 million. Jack was to kill Portia. Why he said go to airport & leave.

I don’t know. If that was the case why are they pressuring her so much to get on the boat with the guy? They did all this work and then the mafia henchman guy is supposed to shake her down for money solo in a boat?
If the plan was blackmail or coercion. On the yacht, docked outside the hotel drinking wine was the moment to spring the trap.
Once the sketchy mafia guy is on the boat pressuring her to leave it makes it clear they want her dead IMO.

This is another good point, they would need to be swindling her for a significant portion of her wealth for this to be worth it. They must’ve spent a small fortune just to pull this off, she’s supposedly worth half a billion dollars. So they’d need to get the prenup voided or something to really make it worth it.

I don’t know. Like I said earlier, I think that her dying unnecessarily is more tragic and at the same time, a little amusing. And it just fits her personality. She never had a grasp on reality, just lived in her own warped little mind.

what are they going to blackmail her with? Rich white lady does coke and fricks a younger guy while on vacation? that would not have even made the news
They were going to kill her, dump the body and let Greg get 500 million. No reason to overthink it.
Greg said it, he wanted to give her the Italian fantasy. So he let her live out one last time. I also think they would have been fine with her OD'ing.

The overdose idea actually makes some sense. They were pumping her with it and the next morning the gays at the breakfast table were all frantically discussing something before she walked up. I think the boat murder was plan B
Also the director was Ned Schneebly from School of Rock. Took me a while to place him.

I could see this. So the plan was for her to die at the party, that failed so they pivoted which is why the end of the plan seemed so half cocked.
I guess this is why shows like this leave so many questions unanswered, so they can be discussed forever!

In the first episode when Tanya and Greg are having sex she flips out because she has a vision of being surrounded by men with feminine hair styles and Greg is there too but he has dead shark eyes.
Obviously this is foreshadowing Greg's plan to have her killed and her body dumped in the sea.

Tanya is a fricking stud for being able to handle that hangover. I would be out for days if i had night like that.

I usually find her annoying but Jennifer Coolidge's character had some hilarious lines last night.

Something I’m really glad about happening, is the prostitutes won.
They deserved it, they were one step ahead of everyone the whole season, were up front about what they wanted, didn’t get distracted from achieving their goals, and got that shite done.
I don’t feel bad for Albie at all, his dad said it best, he’s not gonna make it in life being that big of a mark, hopefully he learned a lesson. The piano player Giussepe was a creep and a shitty singer, good for Mia.
Really hope Lucia opened up her store and Mia got to keep playing her music

this season had its moments, but i think S1 was significantly better.
Steve Zahn, Connie Britton, Sydney Sweeney and her friend, and the son >>> the three Italians
Armond > Valentina
S1 social commentary > S2's

I loved her entire convo with the Italian boat driver trying to explain everything to him.

Yeah, right after he said he didn’t speak English.

I think so as well. The phone call she had with Portia even pointed out that the prenup was essentially void if she dies.
