I mean kind of. My god Connie Britt's daughter is a massive bitch.
I cheered for Connie's character ripping the journalist a new one, especially since her argument boiled down to "I ripped off another article". The juxtaposition of having a hard arse worker kind of trashed in an article by a lazy writer even though they were both women and supposedly want to push each other to great things was interesting.

Good for the mom calling out the a-hole kid. The guy is dealing with the fact his father lied to him and nobody ever told him how he died, and she's so worried that he could come across as homophobic.
Good lord, yeah we get it Shane's a bro's bro, but dear god she's just looking for every little thing to get irritated about. Both of them are great actors, because they are both detestable characters.
I sympathize with the dead mom chick, it's gonna be so hard when I lose my dad, but damn.

Felt the same way until the last episode. Don't want to spoil anything by saying why but I liked that the writing and character development didn't go where I was expecting it to.

I liked the show but I also don’t think it was great but at the same time I agree, I couldn’t stop watching.
I think it benefitted from being on HBO during the summer when there wasn’t much competing with it.

i watched the first four episodes yesterday and this morning. it's a fun show but i'm not sure what is its point .

This show is great. I almost binged it all last night. Was tempted to just stay up to watch episode 6 but this was 11:30 and I didn't want to feel like shite at work today.
