Holy cow, 45 pages?!
Just watched it tonight. Fun to see an episode focusing on Carl and Michonne and wrapping up Morgan's story line.

I hope zombies feast on Andrea's stupid arse real soon. I can't take it anymore. She's an idiot.

The Governor being a Bama fan would make sense.

Finally caught up. Liked this episode a lot, and I especially like how Morgan brought Rick back to sanity by unintentionally offering some perspective.
"I'm glad he's ok."
"He's not."
But another big part of this episode is what a mistake it was kicking out Tyrese. This is a show in which every misdeed is punished, but this really highlighted what a major issue it was. First off, the Governor has, what, 36 able bodied men? The prison has about 8. Tyrese's crew is the difference between being outnumbered 3-1 instead of 5-1.
Oh, and they also have intelligence on you and are motivated to kill you. I think that is THE major strategic error of this war.

While I agree, keep in mind that the two guys with Tyrese were already plotting how they could take over the prison. If they had been allowed to stay, these two may have done more damage than the good Tyrese would have done.

when he was down, it sounded to me like rick said "wooden armor" after knocking on it
Pretty sure he said "he's wearing body armor", but apparently Rick had his mouth full of marbles when he said it.

That was what I clearly heard him say. They even showed the bullet in the kevlar vest.

Well Rick couldn't have known that Tyreese would find Woodbury.

Well there is a fine line to walk when trusting someone now.
Yes adding people creates greater stregth but also a greater burden.
Rick does need to find a way to accept more people especially if he is staying at the prison.
Problem about that though is the writers will not let him stay at one place for too long so I'm sure by the end o fthis season they'll be done with the prison and moving on.

How to take over because they were at risk of being kicked out.

Aren't they basing the shows strictly off the comics or have there already been big differences?

I don't know never read those and now don't want so not to spoil the show.

I have read and been told that there are some but as stated before I wouldn't know what they were though.

I have friends who read the comics and apparently the differences are huge. No idea what they are because I've told them all that I will murder them in their sleep if they ruin this series for me

i read most of the comics and there are big differences. this drives some readers crazy. i actually like it b/c i don't always know what's coming.

i don't know that rick was in his right mind to even think of/care about the implications.
tyrese and his companion have been presented on the show as a pretty moralistic duo, the other two guys not so much. really interested to see how it plays out with them in woodbury. especially with tyrese saying "we'll do whatever we have to do to earn our keep".

Manwich posted the clip 5 or 10 pages back: LINK
Definitely sounds to me like he says "It's wooden body armor.." That's what it sounded like at the time, and that's what it sounds like in that clip as well.
Maybe if someone still has it on their DVR, they can subtitle it.

For some reason I don't get the impression of the governor's group as being as intimidated as some do. Does he really have that many "able bodied men". Seems like he was trying to scrounge up teenagers not long ago. He's taken the majority of casualties every time he's gone up against Rick's group (including when he had the advantage of surprise).
And as others have said, trusting people is a two edged sword. Hell, the gov. trusted Andrea and he was within Andrea having a couple of more brain cells of being skewered through his other eye while he slept for his trust. (I still think she will play a part that leads to his downfall in the long run - just speculation though).

Good she might wisen up and earn a little redemption if she does this.
