filler or a good one?
Very good episode. You'll want to make sure you catch this one.
Oh, and here my list of "characters I hate" :
1 - Andrea - too many reasons to even count anymore.
2 - Imaginary Lori - Still screwing things up even though she's not there. (If they show her anymore maybe we can call her Head Lori in tribute to Head Six on BSG).
3 - The two douches that are with Tyrese and his woman. Just for their general dochieness.

On thing I always wondered is noise attracts them so you try not to use your guns. But where the hell are the silencers

Yeah, what happened to Carl's?

Thinking about it a bit - Morgan really had the right idea with "clear". He just could't carry it off alone.
If the Governor wasn't just totally unhinged and Rick wasn't in and out of sanity, what they could do would be to form well armored and well armed phalanxes or similar formations to go out on patrols and clear out zombies in some sort of organized manner. Doing so, they could likely pick up quite of few more survivors because they seem to be wandering around pretty regularly. Big towns and small cities which are too infested could be put to the torch.
You gotta start getting rid of the zombies one way or another.

True I at first hoped that the Govenor and Rick would team up ... now seeing what the Govenor is and realizing that was such a pipe dream I hope he(tGov.) will die an especially excruciating death.

Very good episode. I like that they focused on a few characters and gave us some actual character moments so maybe we care about these people a little. Hooray for lines for Michonne.
Excellent projection of a larger world with the sign for Erin and then the walker with the Erin bracelet.
Nice to see Morgan again. I thought maybe it was a little much that his wife was the one who killed their kid after he didn't kill her, but I can see how that provides a good story point. I'm pretty sure I saw her as one of the zombies later in the episode.
That was some cold hearted sh*t the way they didn't help the backpacker and then he was killed. I think it showed some real moral relativism that Rick went to such extremes to help Morgan, but didn't give two sh*ts for the backpacker.
In some ways it is almost frustrating to watch an episode like this, because I wish all eps of TWD would be at this level or better.
Things accomplished:
1. Tied up Morgan storyline.
2. Got guns for showdown w/ Governor
3. Michonne is now more fully integrated w/ the group.
4. Rick maybe got a reality check

I'll say it again... I like Morgan and hope he become a regular character but if they would have never brought him back or would have just showed him and never reunited him and Rick it would have been way cooler.
Much more realistic and haunting that you will never see some people again and there's not telling if they are alive or not.

Here's a thought - set up shop on one of the mid to upper floors of a condo on the beach somewhere. Of course food and water would be a problem but if you could stock up enough water and you were able to make it to the beach from time to time you could get all the fish/crabs, etc. you need for food. Maybe you could wall off from the condo into the water a far enough distance to keep the zombies from approaching that way.
Of course if they were really looking for that kind of solution, they would have explored the island scenario that's been thrown around so much (among fans, not on the show). Then it would be an entirely different type of show.

I don't get the "Erin" reference.

Sign on the road for "Erin" to meet people somewhere...
One of the Zombies attacking the car was Erin.
I thought it was stupid but oh well.

I've always said best case scenario would be load up a sailboat with as much supplies as you can find. Get one with a desalinization system on board and bring as much fishing tackle as you can and head out to sea for a year or 2 and see if the zombies all starve to death. Maybe you find a little island that has been untouched by the zombie plague.

I hope she doesn't share the same fate as other black people who all of a sudden get more lines of dialogue.

Now that you say that, I definitely thought the same thing last night. They definitely had a walker that looked just like Morgan's wife. Even was wearing what looked like the same bathrobe.

I thought I saw that too, but I dismissed it because Morgan said he shot his wife after she attacked his son.

Really liked this episode. Especially the scenes with Morgan/Rick.
I get the feeling we won't see him again but get the whole "back pocket thing" is an option.
Everyone mentioned Rick, Maggie, and Morgan are British IRL but isn't the governor too?

Did he actually say he shot her? I thought he kinda left it open that he maybe didn't. Not that it really matters.
I am glad that they finally addressed that part of the story, I kinda thought they just got rid of it.
