I think his writing got better as the book series grew, which shouldn't be a surprise. I just wish he'd stop with the NASCAR-style ad campaigns and I'm glad they don't show up in the TV series.

Dark Wolf is important to Terminal List. There are multiple characters from that series lifted from the True Believer novel.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to re-watch DW or TL1. I think I'll re-watch TL1 only. I can still remember some of DW since it wasn't too long ago.
But yeah that's interesting that some of the characters in DW are coming to TL. I didn't know this was a book series and thought DW was just a stand alone.

Yeah I think he gets a lot of free shite because of that but I don't miss all the redacted material from the first couple books. Trade off for me.....

I read the terminal list after watching the show. I jumped to cry havoc, the one about his dad in Vietnam, loved it and hope they do a dark wolf type or movie about it.

Did you read the whole terminal list series? If not, read them in order. Savage Son is my favorite but the whole series is good.
