Smartest person in GOT is Tyrion Lannister, and it's not even close.
Whoever wrote his character needs his own show. Guy produced on of the best characters since Tony Soprano.

I'm not so sure about that.
Cersei has successfully manipulated a loose coalition of suckers who don't trust each other to run off to the north without a real plan to deal with the night king.
They'll take all the hits while Cersei uses her own army to protect kings landing. Not only that, she's successfully used her vagina to secure a powerful naval force.
What's the jon/sansa/danarys plan? Other than "we must fight"!!
Now we're only one show in but as it stands now, Cersei is the only one who has her shite together. The rest are bickering and indecisive.
While jon and danarys are fricking under a waterfall. Cersei is fricking to secure an armada.
Oh and one more thing. Cersei made it clear she has a "plan" for danarys. What's danarys' plan for Cersei?

I think Cersei has fricked herself with The Golden Company...given their DNA.

When she blew up the the Sept of Baelor with wildfire, she defeated one enemy entirely (the Faith) and seriously weakened another (the Tyrells).
Now she sits the Iron Throne despite having no legal claim to it.
I'd say she's cunning.

There are a few problems with this scenario:
1- Pretty sure the army put together by the Lannisters and their allies was defeated in the loot train battle. It doesn't say what percentage of them were killed, but it seemed to be a lot. and those that weren't seemed to have bent the knee (except for Tarly and his son and that didn't work out too good for them).
2- A mercenary army is a mighty risky thing to pin your hopes on.
3- If she is counting on the North to thin out the NK's army, that's not the way it works with that guy. If he kills all the people fighting him in the North, he gets that many more soldiers.
4- The forces of Dorne are still out there. I know on the show they are pretty much just forgotten, but under any realistic scenario, there would be some sort of succession for the leader of Dorne and I don't think they would be on Cersi's side.
5. I'm not sure exactly what her Vagina bought her in Euron. Dude definitely is not someone you can trust.
