The same guy also wrote/created The Last of Us. Doesn't bother me but I do want to see the sheep detectives movie! Glad it sounds good!

There is no cursing or sex or real violence or anything like that, but there is lots of talk of death and what that means and what happens after death (from a sheep's perspective, not religious), so just depends on the 5 year old, I guess

Saw it today with my 6 y/o. I thought it was a little mature for him due to the plot but he seemed to enjoy it.
I had low expectations and was wonderfully surprised how good it was.

Its grossed $60 million worldwide, this thing has some legs.

I hope we can get to $100 million.

We took the in-laws to it today (they like fun stories and are elderly enough to where the plots can't get too convoluted or it will lose them).

1. Great family movie! The 2:30pm showing was only lightly attended, but the rain probably helped with getting even that many into see it (which is a shame).

2. The story was told well, in a manner which wasn't so straight-forward that it telegraphed the killer but made it fun. The humor was very light-hearted and appealing to a wide age-range.

3. A big "thank you" to the lady in the back of the theater who tactfully shushed a group of 10-ish year old girls who were gabbing away like it was their own private theater. Also, it was nice to see kids that STFU when kindly asked instead of getting attitude.

Anyone looking for a cute and fun movie the whole family can enjoy should not only see this, they should go see it in the theater to send a signal to Hollywood that these kinds of offerings are still in demand.

I saw the trailer when we went to see Hail Mary when it first came out.

honestly my first thought was "wow, this industry is dead" (of course it was also previewed with Michael, He Man, and other dreck)

We loved it. Awesome movie

Terrific family movie. Loved Succession guy’s character and laughed pretty hard at the scene with sheep talking about church.

Watched it yesterday when it dropped on Prime. Good natured and harmless? Yes, absolutely. Did I love it like how people fell into a craze for it? I mean, not really.
