I have a real due process concerns in general as well, but it appears Netflix has done an investigation. It's not like they heard an accusation and just fired him then and there. This has been brewing for some time. And Masterson has been dogged by these charges for years.

He's probably the wrong poster boy for the due process fight. Especially given Scientology's track record of intimidating witnesses and the like.

Rape is always sexual assault.

Sexual assault is not always rape.

Well shite there goes another top tier Netflix show.

They're continuing without him beyond 2018 so the title is wrong but he is such an important character I don't see how it will continue to be so popular without Danny.

I like the ranch a lot, disappointing. I also loved last man standing, now they're both gone.

Wanted to like it. Made it 4 or 5 minutes due to the Chuck Lorre-style, obnoxious, over-the-top laugh track.

Do you immediately turn the movie off when they start playing sad music b/c you don't want to be told when to be sad? What about when they start playing music that gets you pumped up? Do you not like being told when you should be pumped up either? what about suspense?

would you rather if every show and movie ever made had no music throughout?
Do you find it hard to watch anything at all given you don't like being told how to feel by background noise in your shows and movies?

Are you really comparing a laugh track to music?

These women are not striking while the iron is hot. These allegations date back to 2004. Scientologist Church worked behind the scenes to cover these up.

This stuff predates the #metoo movement.

Read up on it.

Pump the brakes - I never said anything like what you're suggesting.

I was clear - unambiguous - precise:

Chuck Lorre-style, obnoxious, over-the-top laugh track.

I didn't say I won't watch a show with a laugh track.

But, BBT, Two and a Half Men, The Ranch? It's just too much. Plus the shows aren't that funny. (Can't really say for sure on "The Ranch" because the laugh track chased me off.)

You realize that applies to how the government treats people charged with crimes and not how employers treat their employees, right?

just say you don't care for his comedy sitcoms.

Do you have a hard time watching Seinfeld with their laugh track? What about Cheers? Arguably the two bets comedy sitcoms of all time, both used a laugh track.

Why is it that The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men always get the "i don't watch laugh track shite" excuse? Just say you don't like the show. It's not a big deal. Dont' try to sound snobby and say your too cool for a laugh track, b/c just about every comedy sitcom has them.

No.

Frasier is my favorite sitcom character of all time.

Because the laugh track is like Cousin Eddie showing up at Christmas.

Opinions vary.

Not every sitcom has an obnoxious one like Lorre (and The Ranch isn't Lorre - I originally assumed it was, solely because of the laugh track.)

And, South Park and Archer are 2 of the funniest shows around. Zero laugh tracks. (Just FTR.)

All i'm saying is don't make some stupid excuse like you don't like the laugh track of a particular show. There tons of sitcoms with a laugh track, like Frasier.
To say one laugh track is worse than another is ridiculous. you just don't notice it as much on a show like Seinfeld or Cheers or Frasier b/c you like the show. You probably had to think if those shows had laugh tracks or not, probably googled it huh.

When you don't like a show, it's easy to find reasons why you don't like it, like complaining about a laugh track.

and she made up for everything she did in Godfather 3 with the first shot in Lost in Translation.

I thought the Ranch was cheesy at first but it got better after a few episodes and each season has been better than the one before. They will write him off the show and then probably wrap it up somehow. I really like it and don't even notice the laugh track anymore.

I read an article months ago talking about Danny and his allegations. They are old and the cops basically quit investigating but Netflix doesn't want the negative pressure.

Wish someone would pressure Saban out like that.

I enjoy The Ranch and looking forward to the new episodes. I had a feeling it wasn't going to last long for one reason or another.

NetFlix already was taking heat for an executive that had said they didn't believe the allegations. I don't know if they got new info or just did a cost benefit analysis, but they changed their stance. You can definitely be tried and convicted on social media by the mob these days.

The executive thing happened over the weekend so they made Danny’s last day Monday.

Danny is a Scientologist and they've been suppressing this type of information for their members for some time. It's one of the perks to joining their cult.

The Scientology thing is why any of this is coming up now, a decade since the alleged stuff. These girls are trying to take down Scientology lead by
leah remini. She was a full on Scientologist and now is gonna try to make money by tearing them down on her new show.

Reminds me of all the golddigger claims on the Saints board when the Sharper stuff came out despite DA's in multiple states bringing charges against him.
