The Ranch....the show is probably coming to an end...

Danny Masterson off the show
I hate how these allegations have turned the due process in these siutations. Writing someone off of their job without any thorough investigation is bullshite. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

I do hope Masterson is cleared if he is indeed innocent because I believe a lot of women are striking while iron is hot right now, unfortunately. With that said, the Ranch is not that good and I'm not really that upset. The mom is both one of the worst written characters and worst actresses I've ever seen. The back and forth with her and Sam Elliott is so goddamn annoying.

NetFlix already was taking heat for an executive that had said they didn't believe the allegations. I don't know if they got new info or just did a cost benefit analysis, but they changed their stance. You can definitely be tried and convicted on social media by the mob these days.

I agree it's not the best show, but the chemistry between Masterson and Kutcher is what's entertaining about it. Sam Elliot is a solid add in with those two as well. But I definitely agree the mom is the worst part of the show. Wish they'd just let her ride off and never bring her back.

I've never seen the show but I read about the allegations a month or so ago and they seemed fairly credible.

I have to agree with you on this point. Other than that I actually enjoyed The Ranch.
As far as the allegations go, I don't know. Obviously, if he did do what he is accused of doing, then Netflix was right to fire him. Unfortunately with these types of cases, the only evidence is the victim's statement. He will most likely be found innocent, but his career is ruined. Guilty until proven innocent is the new American justice system.

All of these rape allegations are going to turn society into a middle school dance. No guy is going to want to interact with the opposite sex
