Another great episode. That punch came out of nowhere!
My thoughts about the ‘wokism’ of the show is that it’s pretty much perfectly woke. There are many social issues that are addressed (transgender, homelessness, abortions just to name a few), but I don’t think any issue has been beaten to death or even overdone. Everything has been addressed like I would expect it to be in a hospital setting. Every time something is brought up, I’m ready for the shoe to drop and for XYZ issue to go overboard, but it never has as of now. It’s been really well handled.

The women fighting over the mask issue is believable. As is the doctor being pro mask.

Yep, and she's probably the nicest person in the ER.

looked her up, hot 50 something so she of course dated Jerry in a seinfeld
from New Orleans which puts her in the top .01% of good looking women from new orleans

Sure..they don’t get too preachy but god damn, does a hit button divided issue have to happen in every episode lol. That’s pretty annoying

And all of this is happening within the span of a few hours.
I have to keep reminding myself of this.

Medical shows in general usually hit on social topics. In my lifetime, going back to Marcus Welby dealing with male on male rape and Mike "Brady Bunch" Brady transitioning into a woman on Medical Center.

my wife would be happy only watching hospital shows. She treats ER like i do the wire or sopranos. Just something to toss on when she doesn't want to invest interest in finding something.
The Pitt's level of wokeness looks like a Trump rally compared to Grey's anatomy

After this shift they're going to have conversations like:
"Remember that day when the homeless guy smuggled rats into the ER and we had the kid O.D. on gummies and that girl saved her sister and then drowned while we fought with parents to get their kid to be an organ donor while that Asian woman almost abandoned her mom here and the guy punched out our chief nurse and that doctor stabbed the other doctor in the foot and the old man came in and knew more about medicine than us but he wasn't a doctor and we had a dog in the ER and he caught the rat but then the farmer doctor broke the rat's neck and our attending doctor had a miscarriage but stayed working and..."

That surprised me. I don’t see how someone hooked on Benzos could preform at that level, unless he’s taking something else with them.

This show delivers. I’m starting to expect the unexpected in the final minutes of each episode.

I just looked her up too. She is a hottie for 58.
She was married and divorced to Dennis Hopper (he was 30 years older than her) and French Stewart. Married to Grant Show now.
Talk about different dudes . . .

Wife and I are loving this show. Can’t believe Santos was right about Langdon. Robby handled it the right way but damn I can’t stand Santos and the only one who rightfully put her in her place just haaaaad to be on Benzos and she was the one that had to be character to bust him for it
