Yeah but at that point she’s already led them to him. That was her big threat, that she would figure him out, which she’s already done.
At this point it’s survival and escape, and he probably figured Andy was the biggest tactical threat.
Also, there’s the possibility his personal connection with Holly had him not wanting to kill her, a part of him still not fully gone to the dark side.
But I can see your point as well, just have to see how it all plays out

I think I read where the creator said he was absolutely open to doing a S02. Obviously they will be out of source material, but as long as they stick to their blueprint, and know King’s style very well, I don’t see why it can’t be good. I would probably go with 8 episodes cause there was a lot of filler with 10. I have really liked the adaptations of king’s material lately with The Outsider, Dr Sleep, and It.
For a few minutes of episode 9 I actually thought the kids in the cave in the flashback was gonna turn out to be some kind of opening into a larger universe, ie there is more entities/phenomena out there in this world on The Outsider like Cuco or Pennywise.

me too, I thought maybe it was gonna be an origin of Cuco, like it was trapped down there and the kids let it out.

That may be what they're doing with this other kid who was killed. They're going to realize there's more of them even if they kill the current one.

Idk what I was expecting...this ending was the most realistic but I still left wanting more. Wasn’t a fan, but I know I’m asking for too much.

Finale wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Slow burns only work if you knock the last few episodes out of the park. I’d probably think a little higher of they condensed by a few episodes.
