Yep. That snake is gonna wind up biting Jack and foiling some Cuco plans I think. They wouldn’t show that snake for nothing.
I really hope this ending delivers. It would make up for the 2 slow episodes for me.

So does the DA, or who ever the guy is in the DA’s office, now think there is a serial killer and that they got the wrong guy? Is it possible there are two of these things?

He was in the second scene in his office. Earlier in the episode the girl was in the office telling him about the other county finding a kid on a trail, he was torn up, etc. He said he didn’t want to go see it but to give them his number and keep him posted.

Whoever's DNA is tied to the latest killing, probably Jack, will get pinned with the Maitland killing, and I'm guessing exoneration for her husband causes Mrs. Maitland to drop the lawsuit. At least, that's what play I think the DA will make.

She said the name of the county but no idea how far away it is. I guess the same one could have done it but I assumed he has been holed up in the cave since missing out on the other kid. Wouldn’t he be lingering around the new kill site if it was him?

That sucked, his scene talking about that feeling he used to get when going out on patrol in Iraq really made that ever tougher.
But at least it was quick and he never even knew what happened.
