Not uncomfortable at all.

Kid didn't know what was going on.

I had forgot that she was even there.

Saw it yesterday and thought it was alright. Really long and thought they should have just ended the last scene right after he tells the first guy to sell him the pen.

For a mindless movie about drugs sex and money 3 hours is just too long imo.

it was short to me. having read the book though I was really excited and there was so much I wanted to see put on screen. i wouldn't have mind if it would've been longer

There is nothing wrong with a three hour Scorsese movie. I like long movies.

I think the point was to show that these wall street people were complete sociopaths in the same vain as mobsters just in a different style.

Oh I got the point of the movie. Just think 3 hours is kinda long since the characters never changed.

If more time had been spent in the beginning showing how Belfort was before Wallstreet, or maybe gone into more details about Belfort trying to change but the nature of working on Wallstreet not allowing him to, then I could understand it being 3 hours, but it seemed like they sped through that to show Dicaprio doing balling arse shite all movie.

Which again, is find for a movie about 2 hours long. But 3 hours of static characters going through shite that isn't meaningful to them is always gonna get a meh out of me.

I saw it last night. I really liked it. The vulgarity didn't bother me. I went to an all guys high school, so I have been completely desensitized to "inappropriate" stuff for years. I honestly wasn't bothered at all by the language/drugs. And the sex scenes were just stupid.

Went and saw it today with a buddy of mine. We were sitting in the theater with about 5 older couple ranging from 50 to 60 and no one left the theater the entire movie except one woman who ran to the bathroom and was back about 2 minutes later.

When Margot Robbie walked out naked, two of the older men both said "damn" and both got elbowed by their old wives. She was amazingly stunning in this movie, the entire time and it was summed up when one of the guys said "they would let her give them AIDs".

Anyone who hates DiCaprio or doesn't think he is the best actor out there just flat out has a shitty opinion and should keep it to themselves forever. The dude is so versatile it is crazy. I would have never guessed that I would go see a movie due to him being in it 15 years ago but it is true. Several scenes made me flashback to younger Nicholson.

I hated Jonah Hill in this movie and I think that is a testament to how good he was. He nailed the performance.

I was surprised what a small role MacConahahah had in the movie. Thought it would have shown some type of role model type relationship between he and Leo but they had the one or two scenes and he was gone.

All in all, I don't think I have seen a better movie this year not have I seen one that I have enjoyed as much. Those two are usually separate but I don't think they are in this case.

Honestly, I am torn because I like to see all the movies that will likely be up for best picture, but I just can't bring myself to paying more money to a real life con artist ( who hasn't even begun to pay all the restitution he owes or even had to spend a fraction of the jailtime he should have) who is just going to use every bit of his newfound glorified fame to extort more money from the public.
