I plan on seeing this soon. I didn't expect tons of nudity though. I'm guessing the mistress slut in the previews is involved. But is there really more than that? I

Short answer? Yes.

I'm honestly pretty surprised they managed to get that much nudity into main stream theaters. No exaggeration, most full frontal female nudity I've ever seen in an R movie

Way too long.
DiCaprio is great (channeling Nicholson in some scenes as well).
Jonah Hill is okay.
The amount of nudity lessens any shock value.
Same with the drug use. It becomes comedic after a while.
Could've used a lot more McConaughey and Reiner.

I could see teenage boys considering this the best movie ever.

People who think this movie was too long also probably think the Return of the king was too long. Yea maybe it could've been shorter without really losing any of its luster, but why hate that there's more of a good thing? Enjoy a masterful director totally in sync with his leading man. Again the nudity and drug use isn't there to make teenage boys like the movie, it's part of the whole narrative

If anyone has read the book like myself, it's pretty spot on to the autobiography. My only complaint was matthew mcconaughey should have been in the film more

Haven't seen it yet, but there was a lot of complaining on the movie's Facebook page from people (mostly older people) about the content being "rated porn."

Also many of them said they walked out in the middle of it and they couldn't believe such a vulgar movie was released on Christmas Day.

Comedic Spoiler Alert:

When Hill is one the Ludes at the Hamptons party and jerks of in the middle of the living room. The whole theater I was in was silent. I was the first one to laugh, and I did so very loudly. That scene pretty much summed up how awesome this movie was.

Leo - was money, idk about best actor just because of competition. Def worthy of a nom
Hill - could easily win best supporting. He was better in this than he was in Money Ball. I feel like he was born for this role.
Robbie - very impressive for her first role. Also her full frontal was extremely

The movie was very well cast. Even the guys like Rugrat and Fienstein fit. The only one who threw me off was Shane from TWD, but after the workout scene I was sold and didn't see him as Shane anymore.

As for Best picture nods. It should be nominated, I'm at:

1. Wolf
2. American Hustle

Although, I have a pretty good feeling Lone Survivor is gonna jump them both.

12 Years a Slave is better than both.

spoilers:

But yes, that scene was gold. That and the payphone/choking scene.

saw it last night. it was much more enjoyable if you read the book. i thought it was great. Jonah Hill really nailed the donnie role. margot robbie was perfectly cast. she is pretty much exactly the mental image i got of her character from the book. my only complaint is not enough janet. joran's assistant was one of my favorite book characters and she had i think like one line and very minimal screen time

best movie i saw this year. cerebral palsy phase was epic

Yeah I read book also. It was pretty spot on. Ddf would have liked to see more Janet. Did u read catching the wolf also? Thoughts on that book? At least 4 couples walked out within an hr of the movie. Mostly older though. I loved it.

Saw it last night, and though good, 12 Years a Slave is still top dog.

Dallas Buyers Club should be up there too.
