Instead of endlessly melting about the stuff you've been presented, perhaps start thinking about why Nolan is presenting these things in the manner he is, and try to figure out his perspective and what narrative filmmaking he is trying to achieve here.
I think we can agree that a guy like Nolan does not do things without some level of narrative purpose.
Cyclops didn't exist.
The gods...didn't exist.
Instead of endlessly melting about the stuff you've been presented, perhaps start thinking about why Nolan is presenting these things in the manner he is, and try to figure out his perspective and what narrative filmmaking he is trying to achieve here.

Now, going back to the context, if you're going so far back as to argue "this is pure fantasy and has no basis in reality' then that's the direct response to the X content creator AND those melting about race. What don't you get about this? He was making an off hand comment to someone about orchestras. It was in response to people saying he has to have an orchestral score in a film like this.

Same thing. Picking one as some defense of reality/historical accuracy while ignoring the others isn't consistent (for Nolan). Either it's reality based, or it's not. And if it's not, I'm fine with that, but it makes his comments about the orchestra and Travis Scott retarded.
This conflict just gives more defense for the prediction that this movie is going to be a mess. It doesn't sound planned out or logically designed in any way.

Yes, it’s a 40% drop because they chose to not recast & instead killed off the character as well. Terrible idea to all those lil BP fans out there. Worst part is they knew he was dying, didn’t care, and instead pushed forward with girl BP because of The Message, because of M - She - U.

Nolan has gone off the reservation. What a pompous douche with that orchestra line. The word “dad” didn’t either. If Idiocracy had their version of the Odyssey, it would probably be Nolan’s from the sounds of it. Maybe we will get some Travis Scott instead of the orchestra.
