I get what you're saying, and I'll call out woke when it's deserved. I know that shite can be annoying. But I've never seen anything from Nolan showing he gets involved with woke nonsense. I said this before, had he picked someone like Tiffany Haddish, that would be woke. But Lupita is a good actress. It's very possible that she tested best for Nolan.

Unlike you I don’t get marching orders from YouTubers. Btw anyone complaining was right and there are a ton of other, more damaging casting choices, they just weren’t advertised. You probably didn’t see the movie.

Sorry you get it from Twitter, no difference. Doesn’t change the point, like all your other arguments it’s tepid and irrelevant. The castings were stupid and there were a lot more of them in the movie so anyone complaining was more than right. The movie itself, which your side avoids discussing unless you’re in a circle jerk, wasn’t very good. Editing, dialogue, story and direction were D to F grade. Photography, a couple scenes and special effects were very good. Overall it’s a 4 or 5 out of 10. There’s about a half hour to 45 minutes of good filmmaking in the 2 hours and 45 minutes of the movie.

Why would casting Tiffany Haddish be a woke thing to do? I don't get the connection there.

I predicted it would do over $120 domestic and could reach over 1.1 billion total. I was attacked for saying it because it was beyond the media predictions they worship but I was right again on the opening.

That’s a lie, what I said was the prediction that it would do between $80-115 million was low and that movies who cap out at those numbers average about $650 million. I said this should do much higher, that its floor would be $850 million and its ceiling would be over 1.1billion. You people are completely dishonest.

Saw it today and I would have to give it a overall 6/10.
It had the potential to be a all time great with the story but ultimately failed. It’s more like the hobbit and had potential of lord of the rings and that’s a disappointment. The beginning of the movie was just bad. So many things took you out of the immersion of the world.
