I thought the entire "mock debate" thing that we spent two episodes hearing about only to find out that the premise is just Will yelling at the candidates was ridiculous.

Exactly. They acted like they had this completely innovative idea that would forever change debates. Then the big plan was "rrr we are going to ask tougher questions and yell at them!"

And yeah the Internet thing was dumb. This guy must really be terrible if the best story he's come up with so far is that people act like assholes on the Internet

They have touched on Will being a former prosecutor in previous episodes

So the concept of having will put all of the RNC candidates on trial and cross exam them to embarrass them is retarded.

Sorkin is the physical embodiment of the liberal elitist and disguising Will as a registered Republican disgusted with his party and the party dissenters (The Tea Party) is a red herring. No one would be acceptable to will Mcavoy because the writer that fleshes out the character disagrees Ideologically with everyone in the RNC.

so far he's depicted the right as nothing more than a bunch of bible thumping loons and the left leaning people as the only ones who see things the correct way. So yeah....

I have really tried to view the show while ignoring the obvious liberal bias but this last episode was just ridiculous.

The debate itself served absolutely no purpose except to give Will/Sorkin a means to berate the republican party while trying to look innocent.

27 pages of people crying about liberal bias is impressive.

Anyone else just find the show boring? Stopped watching after a few episodes.

It's not as if the things they were being berated about weren't actually said.

I agree though, the debate format was ludicrous. Will still watch, though.

bingo

The quote that annoyed me last episode (I think it was), where Sloan Sabbith said something to the effect of: "I'm a fiscal conservative and if the Congressional Republicans don't raise the debt ceiling it will be utter catastrophe this is madness!!!"

I find it boring and tedious when they are using hindsight to examine recent history and pontificate about how only liberals saw it the "right way". Whatever.

The show would have been so much better if Sorkin wouldn't try to cloak this railings against conservatives. Just be what you are, man...don't try to hide it.

Even if you remove the liberal bias issue, the show really has been a waste of decent actors.

The relationship stuff is straight out of a bad sitcom and last episode Will falling over trying to get into his pants. Really?

Don't even get me started on the secret troll story.

The lights coming back on right after the speech, once again straight out of a bad sitcom.

I want to like the show even with the liberal nonsense but so far the show has failed.

Yea the show sucks and it's smug. I like the Charlie character but that's really it.

I'll watch the episodes a couple days or couple weeks after they aired just to see how much more it sucks.

Munn's getting annoying as shite too. I hate how all of them but the Jr. producer guy and the Indian kid have this OCD/ADD speech pattern where they end an exchange with the most assenine question or remark about trivial bullshite.

At this point I'm not sure how "just ignore the political stuff" crowd can even defend this episode

Because the quotes are accurate, and I still don't let it bother me.

It's just a show.
