For me it sometimes depends on my mood. But I thought tonight was decent and, in fact, made a very good point about the jokes we call "debates" whether you're Republican or Democrat. Both parties are fricking risk averse.
I agree. But this is common knowledge. Softball questions are a common thing, at all debates.

That was the point. Will was trying to use his influence with Adam (Republican strategist) to do something different.

Him was there to tell Maggie about dons flowers not to see Lisa. Then don fessed up to Maggie
Not what I got. I thought that, after Mac's speech, Jim decided to tell Maggie he was in to her. Don realized what was going on and decided it was time to fess up.

That's what I thought as well.

Maggie is cute although she does fricking suck.
Allison Pill is not attractive....at all, so any character she plays will not be attractive.

You. Are. Wrong. She's a cute girl whose looks are intentionally played down in this series. I first noticed here when she was "In Treatment" as one of Gabriel Byrne's patients.

No. I'm. Not.
See I can do it too.

No I meant with the spray paint scene

Couple of things I didn't like....
-I hate how they're all just so disgusted covering the casey anthony stuff "Guys....you don't have to watch this".....oh please, so dramatic.
- Did they really even believe me for a minute they would agree to your debate structure? And Is asking tough questions really this groundbreaking revelation that was going to forever change debates? Of course they weren't going to let him grill the shite out of their candidates and make them look stupid.

I think Don did it b/c he realized he a) wasn't treating Maggie well and b) that Jim is a good dude and that he (Don) should get out of the way for a Jim and Maggie romance. He seemed pretty astounded when Will (or someone) told him that Jim signed for the flowers and had them delivered to Will's office even though he could've used that to break Don and Maggie up. Instead Jim decided to stay out of it.

Then go watch something else, stop mucking up the season thread, and move along.
Seriously, majority of the people bitching about the show in this thread are people who are saying they stopped watching the show episodes ago. Then why are you still here? It's pretty clear you're not turning anyone off who is actively watching.
I'm still watching, but barely. All Sorkin has to do is spend one sliver of one episode going after liberals like he's spent 9 episodes going after conservatives, and the criticism would subside. But he' won't do that!
The premise just isn't believable...that McAvoy's character would be so one-sided harsh on his own kind (Republicans).

I'm pretty damn harsh on other conservatives when I think they are being idiots.

Sorkin nails the viewer in the face week after week with snarky and anxiety addled characters.
The show doesn't portray tension, it is just raw anxiety and agitation in every scene
I missed last week and watched this week on dvr. Having a week off from the show just highlighted to me how much they WEAR ME OUT
And I still FF through every Allison Pill scene and it makes the show much easier to watch. I literally despise that character

I thought the episode was bad. Maggie is hideous.
I thought the entire "mock debate" thing that we spent two episodes hearing about only to find out that the premise is just Will yelling at the candidates was ridiculous.
What was the point of slumdog millionaire trolling the internet? Just to get the person who made the death threat do it again?

He was trying to be a member of some troll club for a story. All it really was, was a way to find out who gave Will the death threat.

I said she is "cute" and she is.
None of you even come close to pulling as much . . . well I'll let it drop.
