I have this brilliant solution. If it bothers you (not you specifically but those who come in weekly to bitch) that much, don't watch. I respect your opinion to not watch it. But at this point it's pretty clear who will and won't want to watch.

Yeah I thought that as well.
Also kind of annoyed that we have this big revelation of Neal finding the death threat poster and not a peep about it in the finale.

Well people get upset because they like the show but they constantly have to deal with the political agenda of it, which could get annoying regardless what your political views are.
So stop telling people not to watch, you're getting really annoying with it

So, you have zero complaints about every show you watch?
I really like the premise of the show, the hackish writing just gets ridiculous. I guess that is why they fired their entire writing staff...

No more annoying then every week coming here and not being able to discuss what happens on the actual show because of people bitching non-stop about it being left leaning. It's been like that all season, especially in the second half of the season.
So once again, feel free to not watch if it bothers you so much. Sorry if that annoys you. But the shite gets old when you come to a show thread to discuss the show but it's just one bitch political bitchfest.

Not all. But if it's a show that I've had something to bitch about every episode since it started running chances are I'm going to stop watching it if it's such a chore to do so.

It's slightly frustrating only because I think the show would be better if they were a little more centered
. But I'm not naive enough to let what a tv how thinks bother me.
Every time I come into this thread, however rare that is, I mostly see you complaining about people complaining

And majority of the time I've seen you post in the thread it is because you're upset over a poke at a Republican or the show potentially influencing the "dumb".

This is the first episode that I sat down and watched quite a bit of.
Damn, Sorkin doesn't even try to go subtle with the politics.
Otherwise, the drama was...ok.

Well, I will say the constant complaining about the "liberal bias" is becoming tedious. The show is what it is.
And what, precisely, is inaccurate about the portrayals of Bachmann, McConnell, Perry, et al? I'm willing to listen. As I said in on the PoliBoard, I'm not much of a fan of the current Democratic leadership, but I loathe the minority that has managed to hijack the GOP and the spineless GOP candidates that know better but pander to that minority because of a fricked up primary system. I would love to consider voting Republican (I've voted GOP twice in a presidential election, three times for a gubenatorial election [not Jindal, however]), but the extremists hold far too much sway currently.
Back to the show.
No doubt McAvoy is not a conservative, but he very well could have been a moderate Republican, RINO. I'm tired of Jim being such a pussy and Maggie being such a dumbass. I'm beginning to think they deserve what they get. I am glad the weasel Reese had his arse handed to him. What a greasy little frick he is.

I really am all in for Don and Sloan at this point.
But you had to know Jim and Maggie won't get together anytime soon. And if they do they'll get together, then break up, and the be all moody and so on and so on.

The thing is there is no portrayal of them. I think Sorkin just chooses not to confront there issues and focus on the Republicans. It's my main beef is its not that they are portraying one side as better; they're only hoeing one side period. I don't necessarily disagree with a lot of their pieces, most of them seem solid an based on facts. But there just isn't any discussion on the liberals AT ALL. It's just strange, and this isn't me coming in here mad about them bashing Republicans, they are focussing on the negative sure but it is what it is. I just wish they would show both sides sometimes, I still enjoy the show and haven't been bashing it anytime recently, as BlueGrassBelle incorrectly claimed

I'm pretty sure Will stated very early in the season that he was on a mission against the Tea Party. That is what he was been doing.
One thing that does bother me I will admit is that he said that newsnight was going to be like a courtroom, well I hope we get to her the defense speak a little bit next season.

So you didn't say this:
Or this (in response to someone saying that the show could "exploit and influence those who are uninformed and it's clear"):
Have you been less heavy handed then others with your criticism? Sure. But what I said wasn't a lie based on things you've posted.

I just wish they wouldn't make all those shuttle pokes at Republicans "I'm Rebublican, people just think I'm Liberal because I think Hurricanes are caused by global warming and not gay marriage" I mean c'mon, that's insulting to conservatives. I still really like the show and it won't stop me from watching, but crap like that does get annoying

That's not me bashing the show, it's me discussing how I think it could be better
.In both of those quotes I said I like the show, and I do. So you're not ok with anybody having any issue with the show?

Your issues are with the politics, and frankly, I think most people are tired of having to listen to it.

Don't believe I've said that anywhere in this thread. But thanks for trying.
And FWIW, putting "But I like the show.." in front of it doesn't reduce the fact that it seems like everytime you've posted here it's been a criticism about the show being too left leaning. And while, once again, I respect your opinion on that it's pretty old when we're at the end of the season and that's still your chief complaint.

Be honest. Most of the dumbass remarks from candidates have come from the right. Obama is the only candidate running for the left.
