I've never held back my affection of LOTR and Cold Mountain on this board. Those seem to always get me. And I had one a month ago that got me choked up but I can't think of it.
Now I'm pissed bc I can't think of it.

I'd also add The Shootist to this... Just the fact that John Wayne was on his last leg IRL while making this movie makes the movie itself seems more real.

The original version of Where the Red Fern Grows just kills me at the end.

I've probably seen it a dozen times over the years, and I still tear up a little bit.
