It stunk on ice. And for modern Godzilla films manages to be the worst.

Even Planet of Monsters, City on the Edge of Battle, and Planet Eater are OK when put next to it. And those absolutely sucked arse for the premise.

Sounds like every single Japanese Godzilla movie to me.

It really is. Every time a new Zilla movie comes out and people whine about either not enough Godzilla or too many side stories I really do wonder if they ever saw a single Toho led movie.

Speaking of the old Japanese movies one thing KotM did that those who didn’t see the older films will miss us the use of the oxygen destroyer. It isn’t just a call back to original film but a potential set up for what will likely end the films or be the final monster at least.

I’ve really enjoyed the new Godzilla and Kong movies. Sure, the parts with humans can be tiresome but still. The monsters look fabulous.

I searched for a thread from a guy who said he watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't find it. This was the most recent one I could find.

People need to be specific with their subject when they post.

ETA: I'm going to crank up the volume when Godzilla hits the screen.

The best Godzilla movie was Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Daddy/Jimmy Page single from the movie soundtrack. COME WITH ME!

The soundtrack was much better than the movie. The 1998 movie was very disappointing, and I haven't watched it since it was in the theaters.

1998 with Broderick was way better.

This Godzilla movie got slammed for years but its solid. Heck the CGI imo still holds up well today.
