I finally watched it the other night and I agree. I didn't even watch the end. It's completely scatterbrained and has no real narrative. Why they thought the aging slut from The Departed would be a great main character, I have no idea, but they didn't have to double down with Eleven's pointless, mood swing driven character.
King Kong was even dumber, and the whole "monster'verse" thing is a huge waste of time.
Foreigner-controlled summer blockbusters are the worst.

I got what I wanted ever since Godzilla became about the Kaiju fights.

Have these people ever seen a Godzilla, King Kong or Kaiju movie before? Kong Skull Island was great. Pacific Rim was really good. Godzilla 2014 was okayish. Besides that, they are all pretty terrible.
This movie had giant monsters, from the beginning until the end fighting and causing chaos and some people were there too. You can expect much more from a kaiju movie. If you are, you will be disappointed.
Godzilla KOTM was one of the best Godzilla’s ever made IMO. Just the fact that Godzilla was around for most of the movie made it better than other Godzilla movies.

There was way too much pandering to check certain boxes with various groups, poorly written characters, the monsters were not enough to carry this piece of garbage. I would have rather watched an hour and a half of monsters just destroying shite.

Sadly I've kinda turned into someone who notices shite like this now, (especially liberal garbage) but I saw nothing of the sort in this movie. Was it the fact that the "Save the Earth" people were the villains? I'm drawing a blank here.

seems to me, based on your repeated posting of the same drivel, that you just go looking for any sort of pandering in every movie released.
why watch movies - you clearly cannot enjoy them much - i mean based on the level of bitching you make about seemingly all of them.
