Smaller bulges, fake tears and eyebrow removal: the needless examples of computer trickery

Tobey Maguire's contract demanded $15,000 to shave his head in this small role, so director Terry Gilliam opted for a bald cap and CGI instead. In the end, it was more expensive.

Ghost Rider
As well as keeping his agent busy, one of Nicolas Cage’s pastimes is staying in shape. Unfortunately the then 42-year-old wasn’t shapely enough for this daft comic adaptation; producers made his abs bigger in post-production.

Your Highness
Despite the medieval comedy featuring more than its fair share of less-than-subtle innuendo, when marketing the R-rated movie to audiences too young to see it anyway, Natalie Portman’s derriere was deemed too cheeky for the “green band” trailer. Read that last week and thought of this article when I was watching Jedi the other day

I haven't read the article, but in Attack of the Clones when Padme falls of the transport and a CGI Stormtrooper runs up to her and talks to her...yeah. Everything wrong with the prequels was encapsuled right there.

the most egregious thing i saw while watching the re-done jedi is the CGI of the new Annikan replacing the old one. Having that poser next to yoda and old ben is a film ruiner to me. Why not insert the Ewan McGregor Obi-wan then?

They could have just had some guy in the Trooper suit do it like the old days, but nooooo, everything in the prequels was done with computers, and you could tell.

Disney made Lindsey Lohan's tits smaller for Herbie. I read Natalie Portman used a body double for Your Highness.

Nic Cage had a six pack but somehow still managed to have saggy tits.
