By my count, there were five male characters of any note in the movie.
- A geriatric Nick Fury whose only role was to say lines like, "USE BLACK GIRL MAGIC!" and "Not my good eye!"

- Kamala's Dad and Older brother. The Dad was saved once by Kamala's mom who dove in front of a Kree solider's spear before he stabbed a cowering Dad. You know, that old chestnut...
- The Prince of the Musical Planet Aladna.
I guess I could also add the portly black space station guy who had a few lines as well.
That's it...other than background actors, there are no other men in this entire movie.

It’s a good, not great Marvel film. Not one of the best or even top 10 among the 33 films in the MCU, but also not even close to the bottom. It’s somewhere in the middle where the vast majority of Phase 1 and 2 fell, and better than several of them. Not sure why people expect every film to aspire to Endgame level when that has never been what the MCU is.

Valkyrie, also, in Norse mythology wasn't a single person but a group of warrior women who escorted the honored dead into Valhalla.
The one you're referring to (the blond) is Brunnhilde. She was the leader of the Valkyrior (the plural for the Valkyrie), and took the name "Valkyrie" on Earth as her hero name.
There are some others that held the name Valkyrie at some point, like Danielle Moonstar (originally a New Mutant)
And Freya was part of the Valkyrior as well.
That being said, I agree that they should have used Brunnhilde, because she was the original, and she was the leader. I would have preferred a story that didn't include the slaughter of the entire Valkyrior, but on the other hand it did give us the best Thor movie (and, unfortunately, put Taika in position to give us the WORST Thor movie as well).
Well, honestly, Infinity War is the best Thor movie, but you know what I mean.

Moira McTaggert (used to be a friend of Xavier) is now evil (really long fricking story). She usually takes the skin of people to hide, but for MJ she used a necklace to control her to get into the Hellfire Gala.
So it was implied she'd wear her skin, but that didn't happen. Spider-Man and Wolverine rescue her in an issue of Spider-Man.
