it was explained earlier that those who know how to wield it can use it more affectively than those who don't.

Do I have to watch rebels or clone wars to get the backstories?

I’m obviously gonna have to go watch the book of boba because some shite has definitely went down between season 2 and 3.

I don't like how the darksaber is heavy for Mando but light as a feather for Bo.

I’m pretty sure it has little to do with physical strength. Paz Vizla took it from Din when they fought and he struggled with it as well. It’s all mental.

I’d take Mando with the beskar spear (he no longer has) over Dark Saber Bo Katan

Rook Kast used to take her helmet off a lot though.

Yes when she was Rook Kast but after the purge she basically went into hiding into the Children of the Watch who do not remove their helmet and no one would know who she really is as the Armorer.

In the Boba Fett episodes the Armorer said that if you fight against the Saber it gets heavier. You have to fight with it and feel it….or something like that.

I have to admit we were watching and we’re hoping Grogu would pick it up and go off Yoda style. Alas…..

I dunno, it would be an interesting match. She (her stunt double) looked pretty damn competent. The one true thing in Mando's favor would be that the Dark Saber can't cut his Beskar armor.

Re the spear, I agree he used it well. Seems like there's a lot of raw Beskar in those mines still, maybe he needs to pick up a lump (or that helmet?) and get another spear made.

Doesn't Grogu have like another 50 years until he's 100 and reaches Yoda-species adulthood?

Was a little surprised this wasn't a filler ep or drag-out ep.

Yeah, I didn't think they'd get to the Living Water until the end of the season.

I haven't seen the Clone Wars, Rebels (past S1) and the Bad Batch, so I don't know about Kast, but something tells me that The Armorer has the potential to be more of a big bad than Kryse.

And Bo reminding us she has known Jedi. Her time with the Saber and spending time around Jedi probably has her better mentally able to wield the Saber.

I do think he starts speaking by the end of the season. They dropped a little hint on that.

Did anyone else get mines of Moria vibes in the mines of Mandalore?

I see this show has gone down the "man incompetent: woman save the day" hole that Disney just loves so much.

May be time to write this one off.

Eh probably has more to do with Filoni having a hard on for any Rebels or Clone Wars characters and wants to make them do cool badass shite. I wasn’t a fan of Mando needing to be rescued but at least she look cool doing it. And Mando can’t win every battle so to speak. It’s fine if it happens every now and then.
