This made me exceptionally happy. Filoni and Favreau absolutely need to take over the entire Star Wars franchise. With zero input from anyone else, unless asked.

It was great to Ahsoka so early in the episode and at that amount of action. I was worried how they’d be able to get her from the shows to real life and they nailed it.

So much needs to happen in so few episodes.

Very strong episode, IMO.

Dawson looked great as Ahsoka. Loved the loth cat that showed up.

I was shocked to hear that name. I was expecting someone tied to the trilogy. Maybe Hux or Sloane from the newer books. But Thrawn. I've wanted to see Thrawn since the 90's.

Very excited for him to be the show's big bad.

I love how they changed it up. I was fully expecting an ahsoka build-up but only last second cameo. She came out hot from the start.

I mean, this basically confirms we will get something on Ezra, right?

Likely. I have a funny feeling there might be an Ahsoka Tano spin-off dealing with her hunt for Thrawn. It might also deal with the Bo-Katan arc as well. If true it makes sense the episode that reveals Ahsoka's hunt for Thrawn was written and directed by Filoni.

Great episode...I think we have a bait and switch going on. The way Ahsoka Tano smiled at what I think will be "Master Grogu" on the last scene I believe he is training Mando to maybe be a Jedi without knowing it. A Jedi Mandalrian would be a helluva thing.

I agree feels like they are setting up and Ahsoka spin-off. Clearly if she is looking for Thrawn, that would mean not only Ezra, but also Sabine since she was last seen with Ahsoka.

Without going into too much detail on the plot, which others have covered, I will say that Dave Filoni can drop some serious eye candy in his shots. The visuals for this episode were amazing.

The cinematography is off the charts with this show. You almost want to turn the sound off and do a rewatch just to catch every little detail.

Did you see Morai when Mando first showed up at the coordinates he was supposed to find Ahsoka at? She was up in the tree on the left.

We have three episodes left and they're headed to Tython- after this episode I can't even imagine what Filoni is doing to do with that. With Thrawn? Man.

Yep. Solid.

I wonder which Jedi will hear Grogu’s call and come to them?

Am I the only one who thought that the beskar staff was what Ahsoka was holding at the end of Rebels?

I have a feeling that’s the last time we see Ashoka in this series.

My favorite part, the western standoff with Mando and the henchmen in the middle of the town. shite fire I love this show

Twilight of the Apprentice. She speaks that line to Vader.

She even did the badass move where she ignites the lightsabers facing each other. That episode was perfect. The world-building. Cinematography. And of course, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Need to start the rewatch of Rebels soon.

Could be. Didn’t remember exactly what she had.
