What was her name?
Your post has several names mentioned, but not hers.
Hmmm....
The fact Helm Hammerhand had a daughter was never questioned. He clearly did. Of what significance she was, beyond a pawn for Freca's play on expanding his own prominence, no one knows.
Of course, you know this, yet insist on tilting at windmills anyway.
Oh, ok! Game, set and match 420!!

This was pretty good. I wasn’t expecting much, and enjoyed it.

There's no 'umm..' here. He didn't write the story. He made references to it, not a stand alone book.
The professor wrote tons of stuff, 95% of which did not make it into a standalone book that HE wrote and submitted. The vast majority was edited and brought to published form by his son, Christopher. And Tolkien fans have zero issue accepting that stuff as canon.
I didn't find War of the Rohirrim particularly good, but most of it draws from accepted tales.

It gave more meaning to Helm's deep and holding that fortress to me the way he sacrificed himself. Helms deep/the last stand. We'd all do that same thing

How about you just ignore them. Are we supposed to cater to just your wants and desires?

We need a moderator to just ban these fools.

They can have their win. Internet battles are all they have left. I was at the bar literally from 5:30 til almost 2am last night. Its so funny watching those idiots scramble and try to tell me every movie ive ever watched sucked even if i liked it cuz some guy on YouTube explained why it wasn't good.
You know what sucked? Gladiator 2.
War of the Rohirrim was not bad. Ask anyone that actually watched it.
Gollum the video game sucked cock for free. So much so that it bankrupted an entire studio

Yeah, who cares? Maybe it’s good and we are happy and maybe it’s not and we say it sucked because it was woke because that word doesn’t have any meaning anymore.

If it was good SEK would lose his mind and come up with a million excuses why it actually isn't good.
Him and Madking subscribe to the notion that for us to get any good movie theater movies ever again, we need all the big studios to fail.
I just wonder who they think is gonna step up and replace funding that all these studios provide after they watch the movie industry collapse?
I'm sure they will say Elon but he hasn't been too heavily involved in funding movies in the past

Finally something we agree on.

The Hunt for Gollum likely won't be based on a full-scale novel or story from series author J.R.R. Tolkien. Rather, it's more likely to be based more heavily on Tolkien's Appendices throughout The Lord of the Rings books, many of which provide additional information about some of the series' many characters, settings and canonical history.
I've learned that the more time you give hollywood to "expand" or draw out a film, the more fricked up it will be. Last of us being the most recent.
