How many NCIS shows are there?

And each one has a different cast with a different title

Stars Wars, from Lucas' own mouth was a space soap opera featuring the Skywalker family. That held true for 6 Star Wars films

Then we got 3 films about the Palpatine family. Even though each one still carried the Star Wars moniker. Even to the point that the last one was called The Rise of Skywalker, When the only remaining Skywalker was the bad guy

And they had plans on another 3 Star Wars movies, without a single living Skywalker in the universe

Just call it something else, and allow people to judge it on its own merit

I get it. It is admittedly lazy, coattailing off an existing concept and title. But I think since the burbs and The Wonder Years aren’t singular concepts, but something many can & do experience, there’s room for telling different stories under the same umbrella.

Had they straight up ripped off character names and race swapped, gender swapped, then yeah I’d call it out more.

It would be hilarious to watch a remake where they try to copy every character and scene exactly the same as the original though.

The Gus Van San remake of Psycho did that for the most part and most people seem to think it made the film completely pointless.

Its gonna suck. Its going to be like Desperate Housewives meets The Munsters. (Just for the record all those movies/shows were filmed on the same Cul-de-Sac.

They got to you, don’t they. After all these years of being a champion of standing up to Hollyweird doing awful woke casting moves and script writes, they finally got to you. You are now in the “if it’s good that’s all that matters camp”

Most remakes are a scam.

Especially when some former movie are converted into a series that has the ability to extend or contract depending on level of success.

So they’re not even creative enough to come up with a new name. Why the hell do they have to name it the same and shite on a masterpiece. Many times movies have been similar to predecessors. “Oh this is kinda like the Burbs but it sucks” Leave shite alone.

Mrs. Rumsfield was an OT 8.2.

No one in that trailer comes close. Tan lines or not.
