I hope he rails her and Nora with 1 last anger bang on his crazy ex. He deserves happiness.

I've been expecting them to hook up for a while now.

Pretty sure the blonde guy that invited Nora to the party was the faux James Darmondy on Boardwalk Empire.

Definitely the second best episode of the season, and I'm starting to look forward to episodes rather than forcing myself to watch them based on HBO's history.

Really interested to see what direction this show takes. Insane sci-fi? Religious? Leave it a mysterious, unexplained, omnipresent plot device?

That's what my friend said.

He probably gave Nora some lovely heroine.

Dammit I came here just to post this - that was definitely the Jimmy Darmody doppelganger from Boardwalk.

Also, it took the lady pointing out to me tonight that the police chief was Bryce in American Psycho - and she doesn't even watch the show.

This may have been covered already but do the previews insinuate to anyone else that Garvey is going to nail his daughters slutty friend?

They definitely insinuated it, but HBO loves doing this in previews. I bet he does something drastic like have one of his nightmares and freaks out. Highly doubt he hooks it up with her.

Your fascination with this male character's sex life is strange. Hmmmm.

Anyway, here is an interesting article from the co-creator of The Leftovers.

Co-creator highly influenced by "Our Town"

Meh. Someone else brought it up. He's really the only male character that has a shot besides holy wayne. I wouldnt mind seeing naked ladies. Maybe you consider it offensive.

I was just glad to see some story lines cross with Nora meeting Holy Wayne.

Now there is a circular connection to these characters with Garvy-his kid-Holy Wayne-Nora and finally back to Garvey.

Yes. I hate when shows have a lot of different shite going on at the same time. I tried to watch Big Love a few years back cause I'm a huge Coconut Pete fan. It had to many stories going on and ended with a WTF.

I have to think they will. It was an interesting point of the book. Thought the Tom/Holy Wayne character development was very memorable. The show has been much more confusing so far with not many answers. If the writers tie it together someway it will make for an epic season finale.

This show is straight nuts.

Why did he forget getting the dog?
And why did the slutty teen friend know he forgot?
