So did we just lose both female leads in the same episode?

The Book of Matt was the single most pretentious and self indulgent hour of television ever filmed. Just laughably bad. What a derailed not even a train wreck of a turd sandwich that was.
As soon as I stop laughing at it, I'll watch this next " greatest in tv history" Certified episode. And hope it veers back to coherence and self- respect.

This season has been the best season of television period.
Unfrickingbelievably good.
That last scene with the phone call from Jill and Tommy.

Man if you've been following this show and weren't floored by tonight's ep I'm not sure you belong in this thread

Anyone else agree that the music is just as big of a piece than anything else?
They always choose the perfect time and use the perfect music to pull at you

What a great episode. Curious to see what happened with Nora and Matt.

Back to form after last week. My only gripe with this episode is how they completely skipped over what happened between them getting off the ferry and where the episode started. It felt like they cut it due to time and episode limits. I kept expecting them to kind of work their way back and show something important but they never did. It just felt odd and disjointed to me. Other than that, great episode. I am really curious to see what happens with Nora. That can't be the last we see of her, it wouldn't be right to end it like that. I wonder if Matt will go in her place, promising to take care of the kids if it works and to tell them how much Nora loves them. He is going to die anyway. Nora may just disappear and start her life completely over with everyone she knows thinking she is dead or departed. That may be what we saw of her at the beginning of the season, she stays behind in Australia and lives out her life there.

I also realized the series finale airs when my cruise leaves. I know this is a true first world problem and I probably won't even think about it Sunday night while I am wasted on the cruise, but still...

I kind of think this will happen too. She might have stood too close and taken some radiation which is why Sara was all weathered looking in episode 1.
Right now my main question is if Laurie killed herself, or if she just went scuba diving.

I watched at least 5 or 6 episodes from the first season, then gave up on it. Did it get significantly better in season 2, or was it just more of the same. I'm not against giving it a second chance if things really picked up from there.

Definitely an "oh shite" moment when Laurie revealed she was pregnant and the baby vanished while she was looking at the ultrasound

Why do I feel like I knew that. Was that the first time it's been mentioned,
