Same. Very cathartic episode I realized multiple instances during the watch but couldn't exactly describe why it felt that way. I think that was what they were aiming for, though, so I say they nailed it. Scott Glenn for the win.

Good god what an episode. The writing on this show is unreal. The music is always perfectly timed. Gets me every time

One of the things I noticed on the re watch of the first two seasons is at one point the rain stops on command. Just like LOST. It hit me again during this episode when the rain all came down at once

I'm not the biggest fan of this show. I guess it's because I never know what the frick is going on. My girl friend loves it though so I power through. I will say though this episode might be the best of the series as a stand alone. Who knew the dick head from Urban cowboy had it in him.

Just finished this episode and that was some powerful shite. Music, acting, writing are just superb. I reLly put this show up against any television show in history.

Best episode of the series. Scott Glenn's performance was incredible. Ditto the old chick. Loved how it revealed some of what was going on in the previous episode.

Don't think I've ever seen a show like it. Amazing episode. I was just waiting for Garvey Sr. to respond to Grace after her story. And he delivers perfectly.
