“The Leftovers” is here to blow up that bubble, and the people are finally ready. They’re ready not for the end, but for the moment we’re living in right now. The world has caught up to “The Leftovers.” And it’s time to fricking explode.

Grade: A+

The cumulative result for the final season pretty much achieves that destination, a tremendous triumph by any measure on the small or big screen.

"The Leftovers" review: The HBO show's third and final season is a stunning achievement
Quartz

The biggest treat of all, though, is veteran Scott Glenn (Kevin’s father), who gets an episode all to himself and I suspect will be on many Emmy voters’ short lists come awards season. He gives the finest 50 minutes of acting I’ve seen on television since Mad Men and Breaking Bad went off the air.

The Leftovers Season 3 Review: A Masterful, Emotionally Rewarding Journey

In the vein of great HBO series underappreciated in their time — basically, The Wire and Deadwood — The Leftovers might eventually find its biggest fans once it's off the airwaves. There's some tragic irony there: Despite Lindelof's earlier plea, The Leftovers' biggest exposure might come through bingeing.

I watched season 1 two weeks ago and I plan on watching Season 2 over the next week so I can be ready for the premier.

The first season started off a little meh but got real strong down the stretch.

Me and the wife just started a rewatch of season 1 to get refreshed, and the show is even better the second time.

The Season One finale may be the best hour of television I've ever watched. It was fricking epic.

I need to go back and finish season 2. I think I only made it 2 episodes in.

honestly the music is my favorite part. It kicks in with the piano theme in a scene early in episode 1 and just stays solid throughout.

10/10 music direction.

. If you are a fan of one of the best dramas on TV in this era of Peak TV, get ready because Season 3 will leave you wanting even more – in the best way.

Well that sucks because it will never come back.

Hearing The Pixie's Where is my Mind and an orchestral cover of Metallica were two of my most favorite moments from the show. The music has been keyed in perfectly for certain moments and the scene only made the music more memorable.
