So who all else enjoyed watching Luke live his crazy old Jedi hermit lifestyle, haha. Milking crazy arse blue milk creatures, jumping and spear fishing with a 200 ft pole, haha. Was an entertaining segment of the movie.

Was not expecting that! They definitely went with drastic changes to his character and I think it paid off!

Looks like I’m not. Boyegas story had no relevance to the outcome of the film, isaac’s too, then ren is ignored for most of the middle portion unless it is part of rey’s Story.
Movie is a piece of shite. I’ve seen this denial before...the people who like this movie are lying to themselves and after watching it for the 3rd time on dvd trying to convince themselves they like it, they’ll finally accept that its terrible

I feel weird. This is the first time I'm agreeing with some of the cynics on this board.
I loved TFA and said anyone who said it sucked was an idiot.

Yep they needed to keep it nice and simple. It should have been this:
Thread A: Luke training Rey
Thread B: Snoke training Kylo
Thread C: Poe, Finn, Leia, 3PO, and Billie Lourd fleeing from Hux.
Threads A and B interconnect throughout the film and merge at the 2/3rds mark. Also this should be 80% of the movie. For Thread C, just rip off Empire for all I care and leave Rose out of it. Thread C merges on the final planet with the other 2 threads in the middle of the third act.

And that’s okay. There are a number of issues I agree with too. It’s the people that act like this was the worst movie ever made and it ruined Star Wars forever that are the problem.

it's a movie that has so much wrong with it, it just flips my autistic switch. i have to download onto someone and it sure as shite isn't going to be anyone i know
my brother (who likes any movie almost) and i vented for an hour this morning...it's shocking how bad the movie is.
