Here is a thread for the non-haters to discuss what they enjoyed about the movie. Favorite moments, favorite characters, shocking yet pleasantly surprising moments, etc.

One of mine: “See you around kid”. Luke was so entertaining in this movie. The Last Jedi indeed!

Yoda moment was just fantastic.. Rey and Kylo Snoke meeting and then preceding fight was fantastic. Luke’s finale was incredible.

The first non OT movie that understood the magic of the force.

Also had moments that I did not see coming which is rare for a 2017 movie.

Yes, Yoda was great. Loved how he was “crazy, old Yoda” from the original trilogy. Silly, old creature, but still bestowing timeless knowledge.

Really was taken by surprise at Snokes death, but i loved it because I have no idea where they are going to go with the series now.

The mystery is back!

Very excited to see where they take the franchise. So many underlying themes in this movie pointed at the fans. Can't wait to see it again.

Same. I would have been pissed if we got the newer, CGI Yoda that looked sad/pissed all the time.

The movie was very good, I never expect to get the epic feel of IV-VI back, but this was so much better than FA.

Can I complain about the Leia space return scene? Other than that, I liked the whole thing! Was nice to see the turn over of cast. Always loved the space battles and new ship creations.

Was defintely a little campy, but Star Wars allows for some campiness!

Yeah I can agree about that. My only complaint is not that they did it but that it didn’t continue.

I was ready for her to keep using the force after that.

Can we talk about The First Order’s obsession with the color red?

It’s hilarious how like every cockpit is illuminated red. Not a complaint but an amusing observation.

I’m not even going to go into the other thread. I’m sure the usual suspects, the know it all amateur “film” critics (who won’t use the term ‘movie’ because it’s so primitive) have ripped it apart. They’re so much smarter than the common movie goer that all movies suck.

Anyway, I just got out and I loved it. A little disappointed In Luke’s finish but other than that I was pleased. Will see again....and again.

Good choice. Yea, stay away from the other threads. All of those “independent minded critics” are just nitpicking shite until Red Letter Media tells them it is OK to enjoy the movie.

But whatever, that’s why I made this thread!

I loved Luke’s finish. I was only slightly disappointed that he might not be around in Episode 9 because Hamill CRUSHED it in this movie and I wanted more. But I think it was a better send off than we could have asked for for a character we’ve known for decades now. And I’m sure we might get Force Luke in Episode 9 too!

I just got out of it, and I thought it was amazing. Loved the way Luke went out. I guess I'm slow and didn't realize he was projecting himself until it was revealed. When Kylo/Ben cut him in half and then pierced him, I thought Luke had come up with some super Force magic trick.
Looks like Poe and Rey are gonna have a roll in a nest of Gundarks...
Loved the "phone call" from Poe.

Thanks for starting this thread.

I just hopped into another one and saw those tools complaining about it.

The movie was absolutely incredible and I have no idea where they go from here. That snoke scene made my jaw drop.

For some reason, and I could be very wrong, I don’t know if that’s the end of snoke. That was way too quick with all the mystery surrounding his character and we still don’t know much about him.

Yes some people will never be happy

If it was a straight copy of Empire they would then complain about that instead

And they’re going to start entering this thread to downvote and spread hate.

Just got out. Thought the 2nd third was a bit slow, but damn we got to the 3rd act and they never let up on the accelerator.

Luke v Kylo might have been my favorite Jedi battle. Though I really wanted to see Luke wreck shite...I couldn't have been more satisfied with how they handled it.

Watching Kylo and Ren beat up the red guards was a close second fave.

10 out of 10.
