This movie essentially had no saber duels.

The Kylo/Rey team up in the throne room was the best fight sequence in the history of SW.

I swear to Allah I have no fricking idea what movie the people posting in these threads watched.

I'm just gonna get out of here.

People are lunatics.

Listen, man. Go through the Non Spoiler thread and I was defending it valiantly without having even seen it. Ask Fox and Lacour.

But it was not good man. Leia zipping through space with her arm stretched out like god damn Superman? Seriously?

I like that Kylo took out Snoke but his character was a waste. He didn't even do it in a cool way. He was still a bitch about it. Hamill was great in it but Luke was also wasted. He literally shows up as image, which was cool and all, but then he dies

We all know Han Solo will be a disaster, so just axe it. I propose a reshoot, and I don’t see any reason you’d need any other actors besides Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and Andy Serkis. Just release it when Han Solo would have been. Have Finn die heroically and make it the film we deserve focused almost solely on Rey and Kylo Ren.

Prediction: the Empire comes back to save the day in 9.

At this point only the Empire has a military that could even stand up to the First Order given that the resistance and republic navy’s have been wiped out.

Time for Abrams to bring back the reformed Imperial Remnant.

Watched it last night and for me the biggest let down was the "big reveal" of Rey's parents. After months of speculation for the reveal to be "yeah they were literally nobody's" was disappointing. It seems like the LJ purpose was to tie up loose ends from FW and clear the slate. There are more directions after LJ that they can take the series and hopefully they do it right going forward. Overall I enjoyed the film, didn't love or hate anything about it.

i know you fanboys need a place to discuss your love of a movie you're going to either admit you hate or pretend to hate a year from now.

Wrong, dumbass. I will enjoy watching it again, probably one more time in theatres and again when it’s on Blu-ray and so forth. And I can’t wait til watch Episode 9 in 2 years, though it will be hard to top Episode 8 for me.

I know the franchise is dead to you and many others here, but I know you will keep feeding money into each and every release, allowing me to be able to go watch and enjoy a new Star Wars every year until I die, and for that I thank you
