Both Turner and Elordi are like 6'5" so they are obviously playing around with that concept

Had no idea Turner was that tall.

You might not have known who he was but adults at the time did.

I knew who he was because I saw Layer Cake and literally thought he would make a great Bond at the time. I'm almost certainly older than you

But no one else did man. This isn't even up for debate. He was a working actor but wasn't a star, most audiences did know who he was, and he did not look physically like "Bond" at all. His casting was controversial at the time

Yeah he is a tall guy. If you saw that rowing movie (can't recall the name) it is very apparent

Lowden is over 6 feet I think. Mescal...not so much

Given the range of movies produced with Craig, I'd say the writing is as important as picking the right lead.

Don't know anything about this guy, but he looks the part. He's also 6ft which is good height for Bond.

He's great in Slow Horses. Where he also plays a British spy.

Hopefully it’s not Mescal. Maybe Gladiator isn’t a true representation of his abilities, but he was boring as hell in that

Road to perdition was huge, he had a major role

Munich was huge, major role

Tomb Raider very popular, major role

Infamous, popular, major role

You’re just wrong. I know people say Layer Cake was his Bond audition, you’re conflating that with him being unknown because he wasn’t.

Think that movie was dead on arrival with the plot focusing on the least interesting aspect of the concept they built the story on

I like him as Bond as long as it doesn’t interfere with more Slow Horses.

No. You were probably 6 when he was cast.

It is well well well well documented, literally hundreds of articles and even websites dedicated to opposing the casting that he was a working actor but not known to audiences as name

Mescal, while I think he is a good actor and I have thought he was decent in some things I have seen, has very little charisma to me

Lowden and Elordi have the most from the guys I have seen

Of course, straight to making things up

Totally irrelevant to the facts I posted and those were just be big hits, he had a slew of other credits up to that point.

O'Connell is probably the best actor of the bunch...but I do have a hard time seeing him as Bond. The ears is really going to annoy people
