The movie was arse. But because of the script and the director. I also had thought Corenswet was a bad choice until I saw the movie. After seeing it, I think he would have been a great Superman, again with a better script, director and Superman outfit.

It was Corenswet, too. I thought his acting was a lot of him trying to channel Christopher Reeve's performance instead of putting himself into the role. It rang hollow to me. The rest of the film didn't do him any favors. Didn't care for Nick Hoult's Luthor, the nanobot chick was uninteresting, Lois sucked, the dog seemed like a gimmick. The Justice Gang was corny.
