Yeah mayhew doesn't have much longer. He walks with a cane, and even then he can barely stay upright. I have no idea how he did the movie....or they may have just had him do the voice and put someone else in the suit.

I got tickets for my husband at Movie Tavern on the 20th. I didn't even bother trying for release night or that Friday. Website was slow as frick but all the seats were available for the showing I picked, middle of the day on a Sunday. Never been so hope I picked good seats and all that. He wont care, I could just leave and he would be in heaven. lol

Nope, not Fisher. it's Lupita Nyong who plays the CG captured Maz Kanata.

The thing about the trailer that rubbed me the wrong way was the music. The piano keys and the voice over were really hackneyed, generic movie trailer mainstays. A movie this big always has a trainload of producer dipshits cramming their semi-erect dicks into it (literally and figuratively), so the end result will almost certainly have less to do with art and more to do with marketing.

The sword fights in the prequels sucked. I watched them closely and they're just twirling their light sabers around really quick, not really doing anything with them.

Very "Battle of Britainesque" on the tarmac with the X-wings. Reminded me of one of the only redeeming qualities of the "Pearl Harbor" was the scramble to the Spitfires.

Blah blah blah blah... That trailer was awesome, anyone who doesn't think so is just looking for reasons to hate it.

I thought the score was great. OT score. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Watching it again…for the 20th time. yeah, Poe Dameron is definitely going dark side because that voice over with that edit clip very much plays the him and Finn against one another.

The speed and technique you saw in the prequels was intended to illustrate the skill of both fully trained Jedi & Sith in their prime while what we saw in the Original Trilogy was two old men and a young and for the most part untrained Jedi.

Having said all that, the duel between Luke and Vader in front of the Emperor aboard the new Death Star in Return of the Jedi is still, and probably always will be, my hands down favorite lightsaber duel ever.

First off, great trailer. Doesn't reveal too much about the movie, just the main 3 characters motivations and a few badass snippets. These types of trailers are long lost when the entire fricking plot is revealed to us. This was my fear with releasing another trailer, but it doesn't reveal much of anything I didn't already know.

But I stand by the overall plot on what "The Force Awakens" means. I think I was wrong on Rey being a Jedi or a Padawan before the start of the film, but it seems to me that the Force consciously does a mass awakening and amplifies its power, which leaves more Force Conscious people. Kylo Ren I think is one of those who was awakened, but was already obsessed with the Force and knew a lot about it before the Awakening. Now he's just the biggest bad arse in the galaxy for having got it.

Man I'm pumped for this film!

you've complained about every trailer, every released still from the movie and every bit of leaked info. Are you really just miserable or just trolling these threads?

Also no Supreme leader Snoke yet.

I really don't think Snoke will be a major part in the first one. We may have a teaser, but he'll be mostly saved for the sequels.
