Wait, do we want to have a real physics discussion in superhero movies about humans flying in suits or even in spaceships? A suit or ship doesn't magically negative what rapid acceleration and deceleration do to the human body. Without "magic" technology like inertial dampers many of our human heroes would be dead after the first battle, no matter what suit they have or what vehicle they are in.

It is and I've seen Liv Tyler in the cast as Betty Rose which should be really cool.
The biggest gripe I've seen that is legitimate to me is that the plot feels like they are doing Civil War if it didn't have the other Avengers with shades of Winter Soldier tossed in. I love call backs but not if the entire movie is just rehashed plots from other movies frankensteined together through hundreds of reshoots.

Zero chance it's going to be a real fight. I don't know who the villain is of this movie, but there's a 0% chance it's Red Hulk. Chances are, Red Hulk will Hulk out. Sam will throw the shield and try to reason him to calm down. Other than that, he will fly around trying to avoid death. Until he can get Ross to take control again.
The serum is pretty irrelevant here. Cap couldn't do shite to Hulk either.

The key is his suit. He has a vibraniun suit from Wakanda. In addition, he can fly. Not being a super soldier is his weakness, but he'll bridge the gap by his suit along with the jetpack.

Given Marvel's track record, it's certainly possible all of that is ahead fake, but I have to take it at face value until shown otherwise.

Looks decent, but Sam Elliot (79) still seems like a better choice for Ross than Harrison Ford (82). Unless he had zero interest or isn't able to anymore.
Mackie is a fine actor and Falcon is a good side character, but he's not a cinematic lead. Without the Serum or the shield, for all the heart Sam Wilson has, he's just not THE guy. He's less than Hawkeye. As is, he's a terrivble choice to replace Steve Rogers.

Didn't die, yet. Cap had Mjonir by his side helping him fight. Yet he was about to be dying very soon if it wasn't for "on your left".
If it was Cap v Thanos straight up, Cap would have been a puddle in the mud.
