I bet you Soldier Boy son was dead and Homelander is actually a test tube baby. I don't like how they change Noir to be a black guy instead of the guy that keep homelander in check but they changed the comic enough already.
I noticed that they played the Trump Card once again BUT I find it funny that Victoira Neuman is suppose to be AoC with the "crazy eyes".

MM will 100% take the V at some point IMO. And I’m here for it. He will be a beast on it.
It’s an amazing show. It’s definitely overly gross and graphic, but weirdly that’s part of its charm too. It doesn’t take itself TOO seriously, and a lot of it is almost tongue in cheek, while still managing to be serious enough to make an impact on the viewer.
And while some characters suck (Deep, A-Train, etc), the characters it doesn’t do well it does exceptionally well. The flashbacks/dreams with Butcher showing his being brought up was so fricking well done. The way it was edited with the flashing between scenes of Butcher being beaten while the adult Butcher beating other people…the shite with him and his brother…the splicing together of his little brother with Hughie…etc. It was all just really, really well done. And it was a fantastic glimpse into why Billy is the way that he is.
And man, Mindstorm’s superpower is brutal. I can’t imagine being stuck replying my worst nightmares of my life nonstop with no control until my body dies from dehydration. That’s twisted shite.

I'll add that I love this show. It's silly and grotesque, but they do develop characters well. There are many levels to everyone. I've really enjoyed what they have done with Homelander, MM, Frenchie, and Kimiko.

Based upon what I've read on internet, sounds like it would have been pretty wild had the show version and comic version of Black Noir been the same.

Soldier Boy is homelandera daddy??? shite just got real
F. And with the twisted moral code of both there’s literally anywhere in the world the writers can go with that.

"i take the drugs so i can protect you"
That's bullshite, we're breaking up
"hey can you get me some compound v, so i can protect frenchie"
frick yea, that logic checks out, coming right up.
For the most part this show is good, but that was a Disney+ moment if i've ever seen one. Who wrote that trash.

When you look back at Homelander and Stormfronts interactions, it was really creepy. Can’t remember for sure, but in Ep 1 this season, didn’t she refer to him as her baby?

Whoa. When Homelands visits her, it’s now super creepy but makes sense if that is actually his mom. She talks to him like he’s her child.
This show is great but I’m scared to recommend to it anyone because they might think I’m straight up twisted.

You can tell Kripke wrote that part specifically for Ackles.

We really haven't seen Maeve go up against any Supes that really show how strong she is
Opening episode, she tanked getting hit by that armored truck. Doesn't show what she can lay out, but shows what she can take.
as far as that goes the plane crash in season 1... HL told her she could come with him or die with the passengers. so she can tank an armored truck and take a mag of rifle bullets but it doesnt seem she would survive a plane crash.
just thought that was kinda interesting.

Giving a hand job to her son eould be about right for this show

Also felt he would make a great Shepard if a Mass Effect series or film ever came about

I mean, they banged lots of times too. Didn’t we see them banging on top of a pile of dead bodies at one point?
It goes way past just a handjob.

After the warning about suicide before the episode, I was fully expecting Black Noir to kill himself when he was with those cartoon characters.

This season did not disappoint. At all.
The revelation about Soldier Boy being Homelander's father (and subsequent supposition that Stormfront was his mother) has implications which likely change everything (especially if Homelander finds out he was Oedipus-lander).
The nun attacking Hughie was set up perfectly, they dragged it out just long enough for the viewer to feel comfortable that Soldier Boy was out of his mind with PTSD.
I found the rally with Homelander to be interesting. You could say they were trying to paint Homelander as a bit like Trump with his conspiracy angle, but then there actually is a conspiracy and it's far different, bigger and more bizarre than anyone thinks. And the signs for the guy he's supporting (the name escapes me) are very definitely patterned after Biden's 2020 signs.
They took all sorts of elements from both sides of our real world politics, mixed them all together and created something unique which can appeal to, or be written off by, both sides (much like Maeve's Inclusive Kingdom).

Well the major shocker was spoiled for me because of a YouTube video title of all things
Noir being lowkey childish throughout the series got dark pretty quick
